Swainsboro-Emanuel County Parks and Recreation Department Allstar Boys Baseball and Girls Softball teams will compete in the Georgia Recreation and Park Association First District Class B Tournaments beginning June 8.
SECRD 8U Girls Allstars will begin district tournament play June 8 in Springfield. Hosted by Effingham County Recreation and Parks, the tournament will be played June 8-10 at the Clarence E. Morgan Complex located at 1750 Highway 21 South in Springfield. Swainsboro-Emanuel 8U Girls will play Lyons at 5:30 pm on June 8.
Playing for the Swainsboro-Emanuel 8U Girls Allstar Team are Blakely Brinson, Anna Caroline Frye, Eden Hudson, Brooklyn Lewis, Evie Moore, Genesis Reese, Brooke Roberson, Dreamya Rucker, Analeigh Scarborough, Cayleigh Taylor and Mylee Weber. Coaches are Mitchell Hudson, Johnathon Scarborough and Eric Weber.
SECRD 10U Girls Allstars will begin district tournament play June 8 in Lyons. Hosted by Lyons Recreation Department, the tournament will be played June 8-11 at Partin Park in Lyons. Swainsboro-Emanuel will face Lyons June 8 at 6:00 pm.
Members of the 10U Girls Allstar Team are Mylie Beneteau, Rayleigh Faircloth, Sophie Farrow, Kaley Flowers, Ansley Frye, Jennifer Hernandez, Kaybreigh Hostilo, Lilly Hudson, Abby Randall Lewis, Anna Grace Scarborough, Jaci White and Kate Yeomans. Coaches are Roy Beneteau, Daniel Flowers, Russ Yeomans and Zach Frye.
SECRD 12U Girls Allstar Team will play in the District Tournament also hosted by Lyons Recreation Department June 8-10 at Partin Park in Lyons. Swainsboro-Emanuel will play Dublin-Laurens June 8 at 7:00 pm.
Members of the 12U Girls Allstar Team are Berklie Bishop, Chloe Boulineau, Brook Fleming, Senaria Hillman, Kyleigh Hostilo, Charley Mitchell, Payton Peebles, Aubrey Scott, Sara Smith and Ariel Tanner. Coach are Trent Boulineau and Lori Smith.
The SECRD 8U Boys Allstar Team will also travel to Springfield for District Tournament play. Their first game will be June 8 at 5:30 pm against the winner of the Effingham County-Lyons game. This tournament is also hosted by Effingham County Recreation and Parks June 8-10 at the Clarence E. Morgan Complex.
Members of the 8U Boys Allstar Team are Benton Bishop, Case Black, Drake Clements, K.J. Coleman, Chance Langford, Nathan Kersey, Layton Lindsey, Drake Mason, Chandler Mincey, Owain Rewis and Lake Wilson. Coaches are Josh Black, Josh Clements and Brett Bishop.
The 10U Boys Allstar Team for SECRD will complete in the district tournament hosted by Lyons Recreation Department June 8-10 at Partin Park in Lyons. They will face Thomson-McDuffie June 8 at 6:00 pm.
Playing for the 10U Allstar Team are Chase Banks, Greysn Bargeron, Devin Cuyler, Ashton David, Jeffery Davis, Peyton Deriso, Maddux Hendrix, Kaden Johnson, Elijah Sapp, William Self, Kayden Sutherland and Gavin Worthen. Coaches are Hugh Hendrix, Tim Bargeron and Mike Buxton.
Effingham County Recreation and Parks is hosting the district tournament for the 12U Boys June 8-11 at the Clarence E. Morgan Complex in Springfield. SECRD’s 12U Boys will play Thomson-McDuffie in game three of the tournament at 5:30 pm on June 8.
Playing for the 14U Boys Allstar Team are Landon Claxton, Logan Claxton, Rhett Crabb, Kamarion Dukes, Josh Moore, Tristan Poole, Eldridge Richardson, Quentin Simmons, Elijah Smith, D.J. Stanford and Jeffery Webb. Coaches are Billy Miller and B.J. Poole.
SECRD’s 14U Girls Softball Team and 14U Boys Baseball Teams will go straight to state. Both teams will compete in the GRPA State Tournament later in June.
