Swainsboro-Emanuel County Recreation Department’s 8U Boys Allstar Baseball Team competed in the GRPA Class A/B District One Tournament June 8 through June 10. Hosted by Effingham County Recreation and Parks, the tournament was played at the Clarence E. Morgan Complex in Springfield. Swainsboro-Emanuel finished the tournament in fourth place.
Members of the 8U Boys Allstar Team are Benton Bishop, Case Black, Drake Clements, K.J. Coleman, Chance Langford, Nathan Kersey, Layton Lindsey, Drake Mason, Chandler Mincey, Owain Rewis and Lake Wilson. Coaches are Josh Black, Josh Clements and Brett Bishop.
