Mr. Moses Coleman, age 57, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Pruitt Health in Macon. A Home Going Celebration was held Sunday, May 21, a 2 p.m. at Promise Connection Ministries with Rev. Karen Stephens Jones officiating and Eulogist Elder/Pastor Dolly Frazier presiding. Interment followed in Swainsboro City Cemetery.

Mr. Coleman was born October 21, 1965, to the late Green Coleman and Udell Ricks-Coleman. He graduated from Swainsboro High School in 1986. Mr. Coleman retired as a bus monitor for Head Start and was employed by Farmers Furniture for many years as a delivery driver. Moses was a fun, outspoken, well-rounded, and funny guy to be around. He loved to fish, travel, be around family, and his biggest gift will always be his baby girl, Anjelika (Peaches as he called her). Mr. Coleman is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mamie Lou Coleman-Bryant; brothers, Ray Lee Thomas, James Lee Ricks and Willie Coleman.

Mr. Coleman leaves to cherish his memories with his daughter, Anjelika Ta’nia Atkins of Vidalia; sister, Mary Ruth Coleman of Swainsboro; brothers, Nathan (Lenette) Coleman and Ralph Williams, both of Swainsboro; uncle, Jay (Doris) Ricks of New Jersey; devoted niece, Lakeeshia Bennett; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
