U.S. 80 Project Bid is Rejected
The State Highway Department has rejected all bids on the proposed resurfacing of 19.2 miles of U.S. Route 80, Swainsboro-Twin City. Low bidder on the project was Couch Construction Company Inc. of Dothan, Ala. That firm’s bid was $350,326.
Magazine Rack, Anyone?
John Sorrell, instructor of the Title One Industrial Arts program at Swainsboro Elementary School, helps two students-Walter Heath and Marley Perkins- put the finishing touches on the magazine racks they made during the six months course.
