The Pavilion for the new Boneyard Plaza is now under construction. Swainsboro Mayor Jim Buckley says he hopes the project will be ready for the Pine Tree Festival, “but that all depends on the weather“. Here John William Turner, forefront, and Charles White placed steel reinforcement on the basic structure.
Getting Ready
Cathy McDaniel, Special Olympics chairman, inspects the torch, along with board members, Cindy Flanders and Paul McDaniel. The Emanuel County Special Olympics competition will be held Friday on Mitchell Field, Swainsboro. Opening ceremonies began at 9:30 a.m.
