Harden Selected as Player of The Year

ECI basketball senior player Prencis Harden has been selected as the GHSA class A player of year and first team all-state.
This marks the first time in ECI girls basketball history that a player has won the player of the year honors.
Prencis missed the first 6 games of the year this season and still managed to score 445 points drawing a crowd each time she reached the paint. She also led class A in scoring average at 29.7 points per game. The complete player, Harden led the team at the free throw line averaging 80%, along with 65 assists and 175 rebounds.

Harden closed out her career with a bang leading the Bulldogs to the Elite 8 of the state playoffs. The scoring machine led the team in scoring during the playoffs netting 40 against Charlton, 33 against Pelham and 42 against Greenville for a total of 115 points in three games.
The 5’11” forward accounted for 1,731 points during her Sophomore, Junior and Senior career. Harden surpassed the 1000 points mark in just two years scoring 547 points her Sophomore year and 729 while a Junior.
Prencis will be trading in her Bulldog uniform and will be playing for the Kennesaw State Owls next fall.
