East Georgia State College would like to congratulate Ka’Shay Hankerson for being named Freshman Women’s Basketball Player of the Year for the Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association. She was also selected as All-Conference First Team for the GCAA. Hankerson led the conference in scoring with 16 points per game and also led in steals with two steals per game.
The East Georgia State College Women’s Basketball Team would also like to congratulate Kayla Garrett for being named All-Conference Tournament Team. She averaged a double/double for the regular season and for the tournament. Garrett also led the conference in rebounds and blocks on the season.
EGSC would also like to congratulate Charlsey Kelly for earning All-Academic Team honors for the GCAA Conference.
