Four students awarded prestigious Robby Roberts Scholarship

Four exemplary students from Swainsboro High School have been awarded the prestigious Robbie Roberts Scholarship, each receiving $2,500 to support their higher education pursuits. This scholarship, founded by Swainsboro High School alumnus Robby Roberts, aims to pass on the blessings of education he received to future generations.

The recipients of this year’s scholarships are: McKayla Hall - plans to attend the University of Georgia and major in data science; Caleb Long - plans to attend Georgia Southern University and major in Civil engineering; Akyra Howard - plans to attend Georgia Southern University and major in social work/child therapy; Kirah Middleton - plans to attend Georgia Southern University and major in nursing.

Robby Roberts, a proud graduate of both Swainsboro High School and the University of Georgia, established this scholarship to give back to his community and support the academic endeavors of local students.
