September 17

Complainant stated he received a threat through email concerning two schools.

September 18

Deputy responded to Payton Rd. in reference to an irate female subject.

Deputy responded to Hwy 56 South in reference to a theft report.

Deputies, along with SPD, responded to Washington Ave. in reference to serving an arrest warrant for Albany State PD. Contact was made with offender and he was transported to EmCo Jail. Contact was made with ASPD who advised they did not want a hold placed on offender so her was released and transported back to his residence. While enroute to offender’s residence, Lt. from ASPD made contact with deputy and advised he was attempting to contact the Chief of ASPD in reference to offender. Contact was made with the Chief and offender was placed back into custody and transported back to EmCo Jail.

Complainant was exiting the courthouse when she lost her footing and fell down the steps. C/p received an abrasion on her hand and was complaining of her right knee. C/p stated she was going to drive herself to the hospital to be evaluated.

September 19

Deputy arrested offender on a pick-up from the judge.

Victim stated she locked her car when she got out the night prior and when she went outside the next day, she found her car door opened. She also found where the lock was broken off her outside buildings. Victim stated she noticed a vehicle parked on Drum Rd. at the end of her property and observed a white male get out of the vehicle and back in.

Deputy responded to Lambs Bridge Rd. in reference to complainant stating they had been kicked out of the residence and she wants her dog back. Upon meeting with c/p, she stated her friends tried to kick her out of the residence but did so without an eviction notice. C/p also stated that her dog had been picked up and taken from the residence.

September 20

Deputy met complainant on JM Spearman Rd. in reference to a damaged vehicle report. C/p stated the vehicle was scratched after a pit bull bit onto the front passenger side bumper.

Deputies responded to Hwy 1 South in reference t a domestic between grandmother and granddaughter. Complainant advised she loaned her vehicle to her granddaughter to run errands while she was at work, and c/p had to get off work early and had to call her granddaughter to bring her vehicle back to her. C/p stated offender hung up the phone and a little while later, called her when she got to c/p’s job and stated, “I’m her B” and hung up the phone. C/p stated offender exited the vehicle and slammed the door and proceeded to walk off down the road. C/p pulled up alongside offender and asked if she would like to ride with her instead of walk and offender struck her in the shoulder and cheek with a closed fist and stated, “I’ll kill ya”. C/p then drove away and called 911. While waiting for law enforcement, c/p observed offender walking up behind her vehicle so she locked her doors in case offender attempted to enter the vehicle. C/p stated offender walked past her vehicle and continued walking north. C/p stated offender only acts like this when she is coming off of meth and that offender used meth over the weekend. Deputies located offender and transported her to EmCo Jail.

Deputy responded to Whippoorwill Rd. in reference to a burglary. Complainant advised she discovered her hone had been broken into and had several items missing. C/p advised she had a message on messenger form suspect stating suspect’s cousin notified her that the suspect broke into her home. C/p stated she and suspect have been going through a conflict that occurred in Toombs Co. a few months back. C/p advised she want a restraining order on suspect and her family and stated suspects kicked her front door in and trashed her residence and stole two TVs and a PS5. C/p also reported a XBox and misc. clothing belonging to her children were missing.

Deputy responded to EMC in reference to a 10-13 and the individual needing to be transported to EmCo Jail so he could be transported to another facility for further evaluation.

September 21

Deputy took a report regarding an individual receiving a loan from another individual and failing to pay it back. Complainant stated she loaned offender $1,500 on 8/18 for him to put a down payment on a truck and offender was to pay her back on 8/22. C/p stated she went with offender to get the truck on 8/18 and that’s the last time she has seen him, but contacted him on 8/30 and offender stated he would pay her back on 9/5. C/p contacted offender on 9/5 and he stated he would pay her later that day. C/p contacted offender again on 9/10 and 9/12 and he stated he would pay her on 9/19. C/p contacted offender on 9/20 and he would not respond to her messages.

September 22

Deputy assisted GSP in looking for a vehicle that was possibly in the Oak Park area that was involved in a hit and run on a pedestrian in Candler County.

Complainant stated he found three dogs attacking one of his cows in the pond on Daisy Ln. Both of the cow’s ears were torn off and had cuts on its legs. C/p knew where the dogs came from so deputies went to suspect’s house and he was very apologetic. AC1 was contacted and arrived to retrieve the dogs and suspect was explained of the process of getting them back. Deputy explained to the suspect that if he got the dogs back, he needed to be able to keep them on his property and was advised that c/p wants him to pay the vet bill.

Deputy responded to Hwy 46 West in reference to an irate female. Complainant stated his brother’s wife was being irate and yelling and screaming. Offender was located in a wooded area beside the residence by being heard talking on the phone. Offender stated she got into an argument with her husband over buying his mother a steak. Offender stated she had a couple of drinks before her husband took the rest from her and she is tired of being at the residence and being abused. Offender stated she had been accepted into a local shelter but could not go due to it not accepting her animal.

Deputy responded to Price William Rd. in reference to a missing person. Complainant stated her son left the residence and she did not know where he was and suffers from several mental illnesses and could possibly be trying to get to CA. C/p stated offender had been trying to leave for the past three days but she found him before he got too far. Deputy contacted Johnson County to be on the lookout for offender due to c/p stating he usually walks the area of Hwy 57 and 15 towards Wrightsville and Adrian. Offender was located by Johnson County deputies appx. three miles outside of Kite on Hwy 57 and turned over to c/p.

September 23

Deputies responded to Hwy 80 East in reference to a dispute. Deputies spoke with complainant who advised offender wanted c/p to leave and was yelling at her. Deputies then spoke with offender who advised he allowed c/p to stay for a few days in order for her to have time to fine somewhere to live but she hasn’t tried to find anywhere and will not help pay the bills. C/p stated she had somewhere to go but did not have a vehicle. Offender stated he would take her anywhere she needed to go and make sure she was safe.

September 24

Deputy responded to Five Points in reference to a civil issue. Complainant stated she was going to a Hwy 86 address to retrieve an internet box, so deputy followed her to the residence and the property was retrieved without incident.

Deputy approached a motorist in reference to three side-by-side ATVs in the roadway on Griffin Ferry Rd. not letting vehicles pass. Deputy observed the SXSs with two cars behind them and upon turning around and activating his emergency equipment, he observed the SXSs pull to the shoulder and a stop sign be thrown from one of the SXSs. Upon approaching the vehicles, deputy informed them of why he was stopping them and asked who threw the stop sign out and the individuals began to play dumb. Deputy obtained all licenses of the drivers and verified their status. Drivers were then asked again about the stop sign, and they all stated it did not come from their buggies, but one was observed running over the sign.

Deputy responded to W. Broad St. in reference to a male watching complainant’s daughters through the window of the neighboring residence. C/p stated her kids were jumping on the trampoline behind the residence when they observed a male in the trailer next door watching them through a window and the residence shouldn’t have anyone in it due to it being for sale. Contact was made with the owner of the residence who confirmed the residence should be empty and granted permission for deputies to check it out. No one was found inside the trailer, but an unsecured window was located on the front side of the trailer.

Deputies responded to West Broad St. in reference to offender returning to the residence after being asked to stay away. Offender was taken into custody for an active probation warrant through the City of Swainsboro and transported to EmCo Jail.
