March 27

Deputy took a report regarding damage to property on Harrison Dr. Complainant stated her daughter and daughter’s boyfriend got into an altercation that left the bedroom door heavily damaged and stated the boyfriend/offender caused the damage. C/p stated she advised offender he is not allowed back at her residence.

Deputy responded to Hwy 80 East in reference to a possible burglary. Complainant advised that her house is being sold by South Central Realty since December 2022, and she returned home to notice the blinds had been removed. C/p discovered wrappers in the toilet and could not find the key to the house that was left outside for the realtor.

Deputy met with complainant in reference to an altercation that occurred in Oak Park.

March 28

Deputies responded to Waller Woods Dr. in referenced to a possible fight. Complainant advised he sold a jeep to offender a few days ago and offender called him about the vehicle not running properly and wanted his money back. C/p advised offender arrived at his residence irate and had a suspect with him and the two were intoxicated and made threats about beating c/p up. C/p advised that after he advised law enforcement was on the way, both subjects left in a truck and left the jeep on his property.

Deputy responded to Wesley Rd. in reference to damage to property. Complainant advised he was house sitting and noticed the mailbox had been damaged and suspected the neighbors may have turned too close and hit it.

Victims stated their trailer had a flat tire while it was on Longbay and they got a suspect to pull it to a resident where suspect stays. The trailer has been sitting on the property for about two months and the victims went back to get it and were told by suspect’s brother-in-law that they couldn’t get it. Victims called the sister of the suspect who said they could get the trailer so they left to get another tire. When deputy arrived, he talked to the brother-in-law and he said he didn’t know who the trailer belongs to. Suspect arrived and stated the trailer belongs to him. As deputy was talking to suspect, he said victims could get the trailer back when they paid him $70 she owed him. Victim stated she didn’t owe him no money, and deputy asked suspect who the trailer belongs to and he stated it belongs to him. Deputy then told victims they would have to get proof of who owns the trailer and go to Magistrate Court to resolve the issue.

Deputy was dispatched to Gary Rd. in reference to dogs killing complainant’s cat.

Deputies responded to Hwy 80 East in reference to complainant being harassed by inmate detail workers. C/p stated she was harassed by two inmates form the work detail while they were at the trash site. C/p stated she was holding her front door open while Aaron’s was delivering her refrigerator and was advised by one of the delivery guys that her dog ran out of the house and went across the road to the trash site. C/p stated she called for her dog several times before walking across the road and when she made it to the trash site, she observed the inmate worked feeding her dog pieces of bread, hindering her from coming back on its own. C/p stated she finally got her dog to follow her back home and sated two inmates followed her and started making advances. C/p stated one started asking her for a cigarette and the other started making sexual advances towards her. C/p stated that one of the Aaron’s employees advised the inmate workers to go away and one inmate became irate and stated he would be back and would shoot c/p’s house up. C/p stated a short time later, her aunt arrived at her residence and stated one of the inmate workers jumped on the side of the fence and began hollering at her. Deputy made contact with the Warden of the Jefferson Correctional Institute and advised him of the incident.

March 29

Deputy was called to ECI baseball field to unlock a vehicle. Vehicle was unlocked with no damage.

Deputies responded to Canoochee Rd. in reference to a dispute that issued over a vehicle left on complainant’s property. C/p stated the vehicle was broke down and she had not been able to get it moved. Male subject stated he would allow the vehicle to stay there for seven more days but will have it removed after seven days.

Deputies were called to Old Kenfield Rd. in reference to an escort to retrieve personal property.

Deputy responded to Gumlog Rd. to unlock a vehicle. Vehicle was unlocked with no damage.

Deputy was dispatched to Maryann St. to unlock a vehicle. Vehicle was unlocked with no damage.

Deputy was dispatched to Woodchuck Rd. for a VIN verification.

Deputy was dispatched to Overstreet Rd. in reference to an abandoned vehicle. Caller advised the vehicle had been abandoned here for a few days. The vehicle was found unoccupied on the shoulder of the roadway and not a hazard to passing motorists. Vehicle was tagged for removal if not removed by the owner.

Deputies made contact with suspect on Dellwood Main St. for the purpose of serving a warrant. Suspect fled from the outside of the residence and deputies gave chase and pursued suspect appx. one block from the residence. Suspect was arrested and transported to EmCo Jail.

March 30

Deputies were dispatched to Hwy 80 East in reference to a traffic related incident.

Deputies were dispatched to Colston Ln. in reference to a dog killing livestock. Complainant stated a dog entered his yard and goat pen and was found attacking one of his goats, killing it. C/p stated he has seen the dog wandering around but does not know who it belongs to, advising it to appear to be a stray. Deputy advised Animal Control would be notified.

Complainant struck a deer causing minor functional damage.

March 31

Complainant stated offender use her debit card without her permission to obtain $303 from the ATM.

Deputy responded to Longbay Dr. in reference to nuisance animals. Complainant stated two dogs got in her horse pin and attacked her pony. C/p was able to locate the dog and the dog’s owner/offender walked over and took possession of his dog.

Deputy assisted Adrian PD with a two vehicle MVA.

Deputy was dispatched to the JAG Probation Office in reference to a probationer who was being arrested and needed to be transported to EmCo Jail.

Deputy answered an alarm call on N. Old Reidsville Rd. Everything was good.

Deputy was dispatched to I16 in reference to a MVA.

Deputies responded to Old Wadley Rd. regarding a domestic violence that occurred. Deputies met with complainant who was sitting in the driveway covered in blood and a large laceration on her head. C/p stated she and offender got into an argument and she told him to leave. C/p stated offender was walking out the front door and reared back like he was going to hit her so she shut the door on him and he picked up a bottle and started hitting her in the face with it. C/p stated her nine and eleven year old sons witnessed it. C/p stated back in January, offender broke her nose but she told EMS she had fallen down the stairs. C/p stated offender put his hands on her on multiple occasions but she never reported it, or lied to protect him. C/p was transported to EMC where she received eight stitches to the laceration. Offender was arrested and transported to EmCo Jail.

Deputy was dispatched to College Cir. to unlock a vehicle. Vehicle was unlocked with no damage.

Deputy responded to Railroad Ave. in Twin City in reference to missing property. Complainant advised he had just gotten out of jail and been court ordered by the judge to stay away from suspect. C/p stated suspect had property at his residence and was supposed to make an appointment to retrieve her belongings. C/p stated he went to town and upon returning home, he noticed suspect had taken her car and removed items from his residence and took items that did not belong to her.

April 1

Deputy responded to McCorkle Ln. in reference to a custody dispute. Complainant stated offender was upset because he was not able to take their child with him and snatched the child out of her arms and went to his residence in Hazlehurst. C/p presented court documents that stated offender has supervised visitation on Saturdays and Sundays. C/p stated she followed offender to Hazlehurst and got her child back and advised offender that he is not allowed back at her residence.

Deputy was dispatched to Eldora Rd. in reference to an unwanted person around the residence. Complainant stated an unknown male and female has been going to her house at night hitting the A/C unit and the side of her residence. Deputy looked around the resident with no contact with anyone. Deputy also patrolled the area after leaving and had not contact with anyone.

April 2

Deputy observed offender fail to stop at stop sign, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Upon running offenders license, it was discovered that he was wanted by Atlanta Pardons and Parole. It was confirmed that Atlanta wanted to place a hold on offender and offender was transported to EmCo Jail. While offender was in booking, Pardons and Parole came back with a release form because they made a mistake. Offender was released and a courtesy warning was given for failure to stop.

Deputies were dispatched to Bird Flanders Rd. in reference to a domestic dispute.

Deputies responded to S. Railroad Ave in Twin City in reference to loud music. Complainant advised the location is a “club” and they have been playing music all night long. Deputies observed three vehicles leaving the area and the location was closed. Deputies then rode the area without hearing any music and not further complaints were made.

Deputies responded to Mustang Rd. in reference to multiple shots fired and screaming heard in the area. Deputies rode the area with no contact, then made contact with complainant. C/p advised she heard 5-6 shots and a female screaming for help. GSP advised they heard shots from the post and all units rode the area and talked to citizens in the area. Everyone heard the shots but no one else heard any screaming and no victim or suspect was located.

Deputy responded to Ed Youmans Rd. in reference to damage to a gate. Complainant stated the gate has been damaged multiple times in the past and he was granted permission from the railroad to put up the gate to stop people from traveling down the trail. C/p stated when he went to check the gate, he found where offender’s son drove his vehicle on top of the gate and got stuck. Offender’s son was not present when deputy arrived.
