According to the Emanuel County Sheriff’s Office…

November 4

Investigator met with the store manager at Jet Food Store in Adrian in reference to persons passing suspected counterfeit money. Complainant stated the store clerk was given a counterfeit $20 bill by a female believed to be in her mid-thirties.

November 6

Victim stated she and her husband/offender are separating and she was trying to talk to him about how they would divide up their property and offender got upset and became very irate towards victim. Victim tried to get away from offender by locking herself in a room and offender picked the lock twice and started with her again. Victim was leaving the residence and offender went outside and began beating on her windows. All events happened in front of their children.

November 7

Complainant stated he had a gun in a metal building and it’s missing. C/p stated that only two other people knew it was there but didn’t want to give their names for fear of them getting in trouble. Gun was put in GCIC as stolen.

November 8

Investigator met with the store manager at Jet Food Store in Adrian in reference to persons passing counterfeit money. Complainant stated she was contacted by the bank in reference to a counterfeit $20 bill being found in the store’s deposit. C/p reviewed video footage to find a female passing the counterfeit bill.

Deputy was dispatched to Ed Youmans Rd. in reference to damage to property. Complainant stated she and her ex0husband finalized their divorce in July and her father allowed offender to stay in a camper on their family farm. C/p stated offender has been breaking into her home on the back side of the property when she is not home and caught him on a deer cam tampering with her side-by-side. C/p stated she is in fear of what offender might do next and she was informed of the TPO process. Deputy spoke with c/p’s father, and he stated he was going to tell offender he could no longer stay there so they can start the TPO process.

November 9

Deputy was dispatched to Overstreet Rd. in reference to a missing dog found dead. Complainant stated her dog had been missing for 3 to 4 days and her son found it in a wooded area behind their home. C/p believes foul play was involved due to her dog having a cat food bag around its head.

November 10

Complainant reported her French Bulldog missing from Hugh Johnson Cir.

Deputy met with complainant on Baby Brown Rd. in reference to donuts tracks left in the driveway. Evidence from a home security camera showed a side-by-side entering the property but could not confirm if it actually did the damage.

Victim stated he purchased a vehicle and never received the tag.

Complainant stated she witnessed offender spray Raid on a hamburger and throw it on the floor for a dog to eat and the dog is now very sick.

November 14

Deputy responded to US 1 North in reference to an abandoned livestock trailer with dairy cows inside.

Victim stated she purchased a vehicle and never received the tag.

Complainant stated offender opened a Ga. Power account in her name without her knowledge and won’t pay the bill.

November 15

Deputies assisted SPD with arresting offender on New Life Rd.

Deputy responded to Hwy 46 East in reference to someone trespassing. Complainant stated people have been going onto her property all times of the day and night and on this date, she heard several shots in the arear near her property. C/p stated her grandson rode his horse on the property and observed several campers near the property line. Deputy made contact with the campers and observed several vehicles with FL tags and two campers, and they stated they spoke with c/p upon exiting the woods.

Deputy met with complainant on Buckeye Rd. in reference to her stating she was having problems with someone posting photos of her child in a Facebook group and harassing her. C/p stated offenders name and advised she got the photos from victim’s profile and posted them in the FB group. It was determined that offender is a scammer and creating fake profiles and using pictures for harassment.

Deputies responded to McLeod Bridge Rd. in reference to a single MVA. The vehicle was vacant and appeared to have been in a rollover crash. The driver appeared on scene with his parents and appeared to have injuries, at which time EMS was requested. Deputy could smell an odor of alcoholic beverage inside the vehicle and observed an open bottle of beer, and a strong odor of marijuana standing in front of the vehicle. Deputy then observed a small plastic bag of marijuana outside the vehicle. GSP was requested and the scene was turned over to them.

November 16

Deputy observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Hwy 56 North, at which time his radar indicated 78 MPH. Deputy initiated his emergency equipment and initiated a traffic stop. Driver advised he did not have his license and that they would be at his house in three days. Deputy ran the info given to him several times and nothing came up, so he asked the driver several times about his license, and he became increasingly hostile. After numerous unsuccessful attempts to verify the driver’s license, he was asked to exit the vehicle and refused. Offender was detained and transported to EmCo Jail.
