ECI FBLA inducts 2021-2022 Officers

On Monday, September 13, Emanuel County Institute Future Business Leaders of America held its annual new member induction and officer installation ceremony. Jessica Smith, adviser, welcomed everyone to the ceremony and began to install the new officer team for the 2021-2022 school year. The candle ceremony was an important part of the evening with each being lit by its prospective officer and the meaning of the candle and officer’s duties explained. Each new officer pledged to fulfil her duties and obligations to make ECI FLBA an even greater organization.

New officers are Alaya Hudson, president; Faith Mincey and Salma Cueva, vice president; Will Sasser, public relations chairman; Nataleigh Belchor and Ansley Moxley, service project chairman; Alaina Conley, reporter; Blake Librizzi, historian; Lily Kate Robertson, secretary; and Parker Frederick, parliamentarian.

Following the new officer installation, all new members were welcomed in the organization.

The guest speaker of the night was Scotty Hattaway, superintendent of the Emanuel County Schools. He spoke to those in attendance about the importance of making great choices and being a leader for others. To conclude the evening, guest enjoyed a pizza dinner.
