On Monday, December 4, David Emanuel Academy held their Varsity Fall Sports Banquet to recognize their student athletes who participated in football, softball and cheerleading and awarded those athletes who excelled in his or her field of sport.
Football award winners were: John Kersey - Coach's Award, Ben Flanders - All Region, Jay Carter - All Region, Jonah Boatright - Most Improved, Clayton Hood - All Region, Billy Martin - Most Outstanding Player, All State, All Region, All Star Game Player and Coca Cola Golden Helmet Award Winner, Randon Williams - All State and All Region, Peyton Lee - All Region and Mason Williams (not pictured) - Coach's Award
Softball award winners were: Bailey McNure - Most Improved, Aubrey Scott - Anna Wells Rockin' Eagle Award and All Region Honorable Mention, Kyli Bell - Best Offensive Player and All State and All Region Honorable Mention, Sara Cate Fennell - All Region and All State Honorable Mention, Maddie Perkins - Best Defensive Player, All Region and All State Honorable Mention, Emma Proctor - Most Valuable Player and All State and All Region
Cheerleading award winners were: Josie Grace Black - Most Spirited Award, Maddie Perkins - Coach's Award and All-Star Game Cheerleader, Ella Claire Claxton - Coach's Award and All-Star Game Cheerleader, Payton Peebles - Triple A Award (Awesome Attitude Award) and Aaralyn Grimes - Most Improved.
