Animal shelter — The Emanuel County Animal Shelter has chocolate lab mix males, female Australian cattle dog mixes, male pointer, several bulldogs, and a lot of shepherd mixes (male and female). We have lots of great family dogs as well as great guard dogs. The shelter is always in need of donations of canned and bagged dog food. We appreciate any and every donation.
If you are missing a dog or have found a dog, please call the shelter at 478-237-4040 to report it. This goes to pay for part of the spaying/neutering cost. The other $30 must be paid to the vet, by the owner after it has been spayed or neutered. Please call the shelter for details. Come visit our adoptable dogs at 343 Market St. in Swainsboro. We are open Monday through Friday, 8-4, and Saturday, 8-12.
