John Welch, the defendant accused of child molestation, appeared in court for a preliminary hearing this morning.

After an hour of testimony by a GBI agent, the court bound the warrants over to the grand jury. Assistant district attorney Courtney Patterson said during the hearing that their office is prepared to have the case indicted well within the 90-day timeframe.
