April 15

Deputy responded to Lannigan Rd. in reference to an abandoned camper in the middle of the dirt road. Camper appeared to have been there for a while and was confirmed to have been there for about two weeks. Camper was towed.

April 16

Deputies were dispatched to SW Railroad Ave. in reference to someone in the woods trespassing. Property owner advised offender was not supposed to be on the property and she did not want him there and wanted a trespass warning to be issued. Offender was contacted in the woods with is property and advised he had just been kicked out of the residence at the end of the street and was informed the property owner did not wish for him to be on the property and he had to leave. Offender was issued a trespass warning and was informed not to return to the property. He gathered his belongings and exited the property.

April 17

Deputy observed a female walking along the highway pulling a suitcase, at which time he stopped to check on her. Deputy offered her a ride and upon running her through NCIC, it was determined that she had an active warrant for her arrest through Toombs County. Offender stated she had to use the restroom and was permitted to walk inside the wood line and attempted to continue further into the woods, at which time deputy apprehended her and escorted her back to his patrol unit. The female then stated she gave him her sister’s name and gave her real name. Deputy then ran her info to find she also had active warrants through Toombs County. Upon being searched, offender had a clear glass pipe and small bag of meth on her person. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

April 18

A report was made in reference to a fraud incident concerning victim. Complainant stated offender forged victim’s name to separate unauthorized personal checks totaling $11,033.78.

Deputy took a report in reference to theft of money from a residence. Victim stated she believes her brother took $400 cash from her wallet that was in her dresser. C/p stated her brother would have known the location of the money and was the only one who had access.

April 19

Deputies responded to Veal St. in reference to complainant stating she had eaten a THC gummy and had a few drinks and was very paranoid that everyone was out to get her and her children’s father was there trying to take the children for his weekend visitation but he had been drinking. Offender stated c/p called him freaking out and he could hear the children in the background crying and he was worried for their safety so he went to c/p’s house to make sure everything was fine. Offender stated he had drank earlier that day but was in a hurry to check on the children but did have someone enroute to drive him and the children home.

Deputy met with complainant who stated she and offender were in a relationship until offender moved out a couple of days ago and he took a riding mower with him and she is still making payments on it. C/p stated she still owes appx. $2,000 on the mower and wants it back. C/p also sated she had been unable to get in touch with offender who moved to TX.

April 20

Deputy was dispatched to Old Dellwood Rd. in reference to harassing communication. Complainant stated she met offender online and sent him intimate pictures and offender is texting her threatening to post the pictures on the internet if she doesn’t send him $5,000.

Complainant stated he got into a verbal argument with offender threatened him. C/p wanted to press charges on offender.

April 21

Deputies responded to Hwy 46 East in reference to a verbal dispute. Complainant stated his mother/offender got into an altercation with his girlfriend and he wanted offender to leave the residence. C/p’s girlfriend gave similar statements and said that offender had only been on the property for about a week. Deputy then spoke with offender who stated she had been on the property living in a small car trailer for appx. three weeks and her son let her stay there and they got into an argument due to them not letting her use the truck. Offender was informed she needed to vacate the property and advised not to return.

Deputies were dispatched to Marlynn Dr. in reference to an intoxicated and irate male. Complainant stated offender made threats of physical harm to her and to break items in the home because offender thought someone took his remaining alcohol from him. Offender was observed to be highly intoxicated, almost falling off the porch while speaking with deputy. He also had slurred speech and questions had to be repeated multiple times before they were answered and was verbally aggressive towards c/p while deputies were present. Offender was placed under arrest and transported to EmCo Jail.

Victim stated he and offender got into a verbal dispute and offender struck him in the face. Offender stated they did get in a verbal dispute and she hit victim because he came at her with a pot and she was defending herself.
