April 18
Officer observed a vehicle toll the stop sign so he got behind it and observed the vehicle to be traveling 60 MPH in a 45 MPH zone, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Officer ran the tag and it showed no valid insurance. Vehicle was towed.
Officer was dispatched to Washington Ave. in reference to someone trying to get into the residence. Complainant stated she arrived home and noticed her screen door pushed halfway open and when she entered the front door, the rubber strip was messed up as if someone tried to pry the door open.
Officer responded to Lakeside PCH on Crump St. in reference to a resident being irate and hitting another resident.
April 19
Officers were dispatched to S. Main St. in reference to vehicle damage. Officer observed the back glass completely busted out. The driver advised she was backing out and hit a pole that had a metal object attached to it.
Officer took a report in reference to complainant stating she believes someone spiked her drink while attending a cookout.
Officer responded to W. Moring St. in reference to a vehicle backing into complainant’s fence.
Officer observed a male subject and heard arguing from two subjects. Officer made contact with offender who stated his mother was being petty and wouldn’t’ leave him alone and accused him of being drunk and wouldn’t let him driver her car to work. Complainant stated her son/offender had been drinking and wanted to drive her car to work and she refused to let him and he got upset and started causing a scene. C/p advised she wanted offender gone.
Officer responded to Popeye’s in reference to a report of two suspicious male subjects wearing hoodies and were behind the dumpster. Officer located the male subjects and one was found to have an active warrant through Bulloch Co. and they wanted a hold placed on offender.
April 20
Officer was dispatched to Easy Stop in reference to an unwanted person. Offender was highly intoxicated and walked out of the store without paying for $145.30 in merchandise.
April 21
Officer was doing a traffic stop when he observed a vehicle approaching at 50 MPH and did not move over nor reduce his speed. Another officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and the driver did not have a license. Officer could smell a strong odor of alcohol coming from offender’s person. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer observed a vehicle with a headlight out, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Offender had suspended license.
April 22
Officers were dispatched to S. Main St. in reference to a report of vehicle damage.
Officer was dispatched to Gumlog Rd. in reference to complainant wanting a report of someone messing with her vehicle.
Officer responded to Oaklawn Dr. in reference to a pit bull not on a leash and was in complainant’s yard.
Officer was dispatched to N. Green ST. in reference to a domestic call. Complainant stated offender pushed her to the floor and grabbed her by her throat.
Officers were dispatched to WalMart Pharmacy in reference to a prescription forgery. Complainant advised the milligrams had been changed from 10mg to 70mg and the number of pills from 7 to 17. C/p advised offender she would have to contact the doctor’s office and it was verified that the Rx had been altered.
April 23
Officer was dispatched to McMillan Dr. in reference to someone entering his vehicle and taking money, beats and a handgun.
Officer responded to Lee St. where complainant stated she just got out of jail and offender has been riding by her house and caught him on video coming out of her house.
Officer took a walk-in report where complainant stated the husband of one of her employees had been loitering in the parking lot.
Officers were dispatched to Meadowlake Pkwy. In reference to about 20 people fighting.
Officer responded to Hardin Dr. in reference to subjects walking and yelling. Officer made contact with the subjects and could smell a strong odor of marijuana.
April 24
Officer was dispatched to S. Racetrack ST. in reference to a stolen vehicle.
Officer observed a vehicle with flashing caution lights and a blank tag, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. The temporary tag was faded and barely visible. Upon running the tag number, it came back registered to a different vehicle. It was also found that the vehicle did not have valid insurance or registration. Vehicle was towed.
Officer was dispatched to Mason Dr. in reference to a burglary.
Officers were dispatched to Red’s Quick Lube for an unwanted person. Offender was advised not to return to the premises. Officers were dispatched to Mable Ave. in reference to signs of drug use and someone staying in one of the empty buildings.
Officers were dispatched to S. Main St. in reference to an unknown caller making threats to shoot up the restaurant.
April 25
Officer took a walk-in report where complainant needed a report for identity fraud.
Officer met with complainant in reference to the railroad crossings on Mable Ave. coming down on his vehicle.
Officers were dispatched to Arden Dr. in reference to complainant’s truck being broken into.
Officer met with complainant who provided information given to her about an elderly female being called and threatened by someone impersonating law enforcement.
Officer took a walk-in report in reference to complainant stating her windshield got busted while in the parking lot at work and believes it happened while the grass was being cut.
Officer met with complainant in reference to her being threatened with a weapon.
Officer was dispatched to Old Wadley Rd. in reference to damage to her vehicle.
Officer responded to W. Church St. in reference to complainant receiving information that his Cashapp account had been compromised.
Officer responded to Family Dollar in reference to a shoplifter. Witness observed offender putting items in his pockets and when complainant tried to confront him, he took off running.
