Graveside services for Vickie McKenney Mosley, 66 of Metter, were held Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Eternal Glory Gardens with Reverend Mario D. Webb Sr. officiating. The family received friends Friday, July 10, 2020 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home. In compliance with the guidelines set by the CDC, the 6’ rule was enforced during viewing and service. She passed away Monday, July 6, 2020 at Candler County Hospital in Metter following a brief illness.
Mrs. Vickie McKenney Mosley was born February 24, 1954 in Oak Park to the late Charlie McKenney and Carrie Lee Webb McKenney. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Charlie McKenney Jr.; and sisters, Patricia Jones and Mary Sue Kendrix.
Survivors include her husband, Levi Freeman III of Metter; son, Chris (Tammy) Mosley of Swainsboro; daughters, Pamela McKenney and Angela Lawrence, both of Summertown; brothers, Mike McKenney and Dewayne (Karen) McKenney, both of Summertown, and Carl McKenney of Macon; sisters, Jeanette Sherrod of Summertown and Loretta Brown of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Chris Mosley Jr., Rodriquez Williams, Keon Burke, NaKedra Mosley, and Markeala Wilcher; great-grandchildren, Kingston Frederick, Kamore Burke, Tamyshia Johnson, Kaden Wilcher, and Jayden Wilcher; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers were Mosley’s nephews.
Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
