Vickie Ann Wiggins Pullen, 72

Mrs. Vickie Ann Wiggins Pullen, age 72, of Adrian, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at her home following an extended illness. Funeral services were held Friday, September 22, at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Louis Pearce officiating, assisted by Reverend Adam Butler. The family received friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, September 22, at Chapman Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Shannon Boula officiating the committal service.

Pallbearers were Wesley Snellgrove, Darrell McNure, Jeff Wilkerson, Rod Wiggins, Matt Wiggins, and Mark Kirby.

Mrs. Pullen was born August 25, 1951, to the late Cordie Wiggins and Dora Mae Riner Wiggins. She retired from the Emanuel County Board of Education as the lunchroom manager. Vickie loved cooking and helping others in need. She attended East Georgia College where she studied Business. Vickie was a member of Norristown Missionary Baptist Church for 23 years. Mrs. Pullen is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Shirley Coleman, Catherine Kirby, Dollie Mitchell and Jeanette Kirkland.

Mrs. Pullen is survived by her husband of 55 years, Donald Pullen; sons, Dennis (Alisha) Pullen of Adrian and Wayne (Victoria) Pullen of Kite; brothers, Corbin (Teresa) Wiggins, Riner Wiggins, Joe (Leslie) Wiggins, all of Swainsboro, and Buster (Edna) Wiggins of Oak Park; sisters, Evelyn McNure of Twin City, Susan Cox of Social Circle, Dora (Bobby) Gunn of Swainsboro and Pati (Bob) Radford of Adrian; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
