Mr. Van Harris Wheeler, 70, resident of Swainsboro, died Sunday, February 14, 2021 at his residence. Mr. Wheeler was born in Emanuel County, son of the late John T. Wheeler and Frances Bridges Wheeler. He had lived in Florida for many years and returned to Swainsboro 19 years ago. Wheeler was a security officer. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Victoria Beach; a sister, Catherine Hopkins; and a brother, Marvin Wheeler.
Survivors include a brother; Paul Wheeler; three sisters, Sarah Farrow, Vicky Fowler, and Lynn Price; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
Arrangements are by Tomlinson Funeral Home and Crematory.
