The Twin City Lions Club met for their June lunch meeting at Simply Southern restaurant in Twin City. Lion George Elder presented a program near and dear to him as he is leading a crusade to eliminate litter in Emanuel County. Mr. Elder has been instrumental in starting Keep Emanuel Beautiful. Keep Emanuel Beautiful is attempting to help raise awareness to help prevent littering by educating our community on the negative effects associated with litter in our county. Currently, Emanuel taxpayers pay over $1 million per year in cleaning up litter here in our community. If
