Twin City Elementary School celebrated its October Students of the Month, honoring students who exemplify the character trait of politeness on Friday, October 30. Students were selected by their teachers for regularly demonstrating politeness in the classroom and throughout the school.
Before the celebration, students participated in a fun Student of the Month coloring and word-search activity. During the ceremony, Mrs. Southall called each honoree forward and shared a special note from their teacher explaining why the student was selected. Each student received a certificate from Ms. Jessica Collins in recognition of their accomplishment.
Following the ceremony, students enjoyed donuts and juice with their families as they celebrated this achievement together. TCE would also like to extend a special thank you to Ay Wey and Wendy’s for donating prizes for the Student of the Month celebration. Congratulations to all of the October Students of the Month! TCE is proud of the way these students demonstrate politeness and serve as positive examples for their classmates.
