Toddler Time, storytime resume at local library

Franklin Memorial Library's Toddler Time with Shari Watt has resumed on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. through Facebook. This month's theme showcases some of the helpful critters in the environment.

During last week’s online session, Watt read a story about spiders that outlined why they are not as scary as they are helpful. She also showed audience members how to make their very own handprint spider and how to make a spider using a pinecone and pipe cleaners.

This week's focus is bees.

School-aged kids can also enjoy storytime presentations with Watt at 11 a.m. on Thursdays. During these sessions, she presents a puppet show, reads a book, and tells a story in all in themes that inspire and guide young minds. Next week's theme is “Filling your bucket.”

Toddler Time and storytime programs are both held virtually online via Facebook.
