The Swainsboro Tigers continued their winning ways Friday night, October 30, with a commanding 52–13 victory over the Dodge County Indians. The win marked the Tigers’ second consecutive victory, improving their record to 4–5 overall and 3–2 in Region 2-AA.

Swainsboro delivered its highest-scoring performance of the season while putting together a strong defensive effort. The victory followed the Tigers’ 21–15 homecoming win over ACE Charter, giving head coach Dwight Smith and his team much-needed momentum heading into the regular-season finale.

The Tigers will return to Tiger Field on Friday, November 6, to host the Vidalia Indians at 7:30 p.m. for Senior Night. The evening will honor senior participants from the football team, cheerleading squad, and marching band, recognizing their dedication, hard work, and contributions to Swainsboro High School.

Following the regular-season finale, Swainsboro will await its official placement in the GHSA Class AA state playoffs. Once again, the Postseason Rankings (PSR) power rating system will be used to determine playoff seeding and matchups.

Tiger Nation is encouraged to pack Tiger Field Friday night! Come out, wear your black and gold, and help celebrate the seniors who have proudly represented Swainsboro throughout their high school careers. Whether on the field, along the sidelines, or performing under the Friday night lights, these students have given their time and talents to the Tiger tradition.

Let’s fill the stands, show our seniors the appreciation they deserve, and send the Tigers into the postseason with the full support of Swainsboro behind them!
