Three sentenced in Superior Court

The following occurred during the Emanuel County Superior Court April 2023 term:

Ronald Collins negotiated a guilty plea on one count Theft by taking. He was fined $50 with 10 yrs prob., Subj to 4 mos. at the halfway house. Defendant is sentenced to a total of 10 years to be served on probation.

Christopher Hickman negotiated a guilty plea on one count Trafficking Meth (reduced) Possession with the intent to distribute. He was fined $1,500 with 30 years, serve 6 years, bal. prob.; one count Possession marijuana with the intent to distribute with 10 years, 6 years to serve, bal. prob.; Nol Pros on one count Possession of drug related objects; Nol Pros on one count Criminal use of an article w/altered ID mark. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 30 years, with the first 6 years to be served in confinement and the remainder to be served on probation. Defendant is to receive credit for time served as determined by the custodian. Upon service of 6 years, the remainder of the sentence may be served on probation; PROVIDED, that the defendant shall comply with the conditions of probation imposed by the Court as part of this sentence.

Defendant is sentenced to a total of 30 years, with the first 6 years to be served in confinement and the remainder to be served on probation. Thomas Woods III negotiated a guilty plea for Burglary in the 2nd degree. He was fined $50 with 5 years probation; Burglary in the 2nd degree with 5 year probation; Burglary in the 2nd degree with 5 year probation; Burglary in the 2nd degree with 5 year probation; Burglary in the 2nd degree with 5 year probation; Theft by taking with 5 years probation; Theft by taking with 20 years probation; Criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree with 5 years probation; Criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree with 5 years probation; Criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree with 5 years probation; Criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree with 5 years probation. Defendant is sentenced to a total of 20 years to be served on probation.
