Funeral service for Thomas Lee Locket, Jr. was held Saturday, June 12, 2021, at 12 p.m. at Coursey Grove Church Cemetery in Soperton with Rev. Dwayne M. Rollins officiating and Rev. Malachi Lockett presiding.
Mr. Lockett was born May 16, 1943, to the late Thomas and Lillie Bell Lockett in Fort Valley. He grew up in Treutlen County, and moved to Macon in the early 1980’s where he lived for the remaining time of his life as a self-employed mechanic. Mr. Lockett is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leo Gillis; sisters, Dorsi Lockett and Audrey; children, Johnathan Lockett, Emily Lockett, and Tracy Lockett.
Mr. Lockett leaves to cherish his memories with his wife, Patricia Lockett of Macon; sons, Carl Lockett, Randy Foreman, and Thomas Lockett; daughters, Denise (Dewayne) Rollins, Regina (Chris) Stokes, Angie (Clarence) Danford, Carolyn Lockett, and Jessica Lockett; raised as a daughter, Pamela Branch; brothers, Evanezar (Lynn) Jackson and Willie Morris (Alberta) Locket; sisters, Ethel Lou (Jimmy) Johnson and Grace Burnett; 40 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-great grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mosley’s Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
