Are there situations in your life that are too much or too hard for you to handle? To live life every day in a fast transforming world is becoming very challenging and complex. So what do I do and how can I handle the changes and what lies ahead? My son has always liked stories on television and movies where people disguise or change themselves. If someone was in distress; they would change to someone or send for someone who was more powerful than they. They would send for someone who would meet or succeed their challenge.
Some of those characters were Superman, The Hulk, Spider-Man and the Transformers. Now we know that these characters are not real. They cannot help our situations today. So what do we do? Who do we turn to rescue us? There is a name which is above all other names and that name is Jesus Christ. He came that we might have a more abundant life.
Our help is in the name of the Lord. Jesus sent back the Holy Spirit to transform us, to be our helper or teacher and our comforter. Yes, He is the Transformer. For II Corinthians 5:17 tells us, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Yes, when you read this scripture text, you will find that the flesh is not in operation but you allow The Holy Spirit to transform you through the Word of God Paul compelled us in Romans 12:1-2 by saying, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God". Yes, you can be transformed. To be transformed is a thorough or dramatic change. The Holy Spirit will change your life as you go through cycles which will be our metamorphosis. Just like the butterfly is being changed in the cocoon, you will be changed and transformed when you present your body to God. Just stay with God as Paul told the Philippians 4:19 "And my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." So, receive the Transformer today.
