This is a subject that almost everyone has something to say about. But just know it is a subject matter that absolutely no one can do anything about and that is “The End of Time”. In John chapter 14, Jesus told his disciples first of all to not let your heart be troubled. He said that he was going away but he would come again to receive them. So yes, Jesus is coming again.
In Matthew 24:36, Jesus said, ”But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only.” So not the angels, not the Son, Jesus the Christ, not the prophets, not the preacher nor anyone else knows when the end of time will be and that is God the Father only.
Now Jesus did give us some signs that the end of time is drawing near but not the time. In Matthew chapter 24 beginning at verse three, He said don't let anyone lead you astray. Here are some things which will happen. You might have already heard of some of them. They are: Some will come in Jesus’ name and say, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they shall lead many astray. You will also hear of wars, and rumors of wars but the end will not be yet. Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom.
There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. They will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death. You will be hated by all nations for Jesus’ name sake. Many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another. Many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. Because lawlessness will increase, the love of many will grow cold.
Matthew 24:13-14 Jesus says, ”But the one who endures to the end shall be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed or preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then shall the end come.” Just remember no one knows the day nor the hour but the Father. So, as you read this chapter, Jesus' main message is don't get caught up in when he is coming, just be prepared. Get ready and stay ready. He is coming again just like he said.
