The Emanuel County Board of Education met on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 5:30 p.m. at the ECI auditorium with the following members in attendance: John Allen Bailey, Del Brown, Cherie Hooks, Tanya Lane, Johnny Parker and Sandra Swinney. Chairman Del Brown welcomed everyone calling the meeting to order and delivered the invocation followed by Johnny Parker leading the Pledge of Allegiance. A motion was made by Johnny Parker to accept the agenda as presented. John Allen Bailey seconded. John Allen Bailey, Del Brown, Cherie Hooks, Tanya Lane, Johnny Parker and Sandra Swinney voted “yes”. CARRIED.
