Swainsboro High School FFA members recently competed in the Sub-Area Leadership Development Events (LDEs) at Montgomery County High School. These events strengthen communication, leadership, and critical thinking as students showcase their abilities competitively.

During the competition, Swainsboro High School students showed strong representation. Rileigh Andrews, who earned 3rd place in the Extemporaneous Public Speaking LDE, demonstrated impressive speaking and quick-thinking skills. Additionally, John Crapps represented the chapter well by placing 8th in the Senior Prepared Public Speaking LDE.

Advancing to the next round by placing in the top three, Andrews will compete at Jenkins County High School next Tuesday. Her continued participation is a source of pride for the Swainsboro High School FFA chapter.

Swainsboro High School is proud of these students for their hard work and dedication. By participating, they highlight the opportunities that FFA provides: developing confidence, building leadership skills, and practicing effective public speaking while representing both their school and community.
