Swainsboro Fire Department will be hosting a Car Seat Community Check event to help ensure children are traveling as safely as possible. The event will be held Tuesday, March 10 – Thursday, March 12, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily at the Fire Station Headquarters. During this event, certified technicians will be available to inspect child safety seats, check for proper installation, and provide hands-on education to caregivers. The goal is to empower families with the knowledge and confidence needed to use car seats correctly every time they ride.
This free event is open to the community and designed to be supportive, informative and judgment-free. By offering one-on-one guidance and answering questions, we aim to reduce the risk of injury and promote safer travel for children of all ages.
