The Swainsboro Fire Department participated in a three-day Car Safety Seat Technician course to teach firefighters how to properly install car seats. There were four firefighters that obtained this certification and are now trained to safely install car seats for children. The Fire Department will be installing car seats for the citizens, but individuals must call to schedule an appointment for this service. The Instructor Team included Nadira Bolden, Carol Irvin, Samantha Newsome, Robert Tillman, Bonnie Brantley, BJ Kennedy, Jerry Flander Jr., and C’yhera Martin.
