July 7

A report of a lost box of liquid methadone. The complainant stated he doesn’t know if it was stolen out of his vehicle or if his daughter threw it out.

A report was made of a stolen Nintendo Switch. The complainant stated the offender had her child’s switch in her car, and told her she was letting a friend put games on it. She then pawned the switch.

A report was made of a dispute over a small trailer. The complainant stated they let the offender hold the trailer back in November 2021, and when they went to get it back, he refused to give in back, and chained it to a tree. The offender stated there was an agreement with one of the complainants to keep the trailer as payment. They were told to take this to the magistrate court.

Officers responded to a report of damaged property at a cemetery. The complainant made the report for insurance purposes.

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a tag light being out. When speaking with the driver, he was noticeably intoxicated. The officers also learned the driver’s license was revoked. They gave him a breathalyzer, and it registered .14. He was arrested for DUI, tag light violation, and child endangerment.

July 8

Officers responded to a report of a dispute. The complainant stated he had a male and female over, and wanted the male to leave because he broke his window out. The female was revealed to be the complainant's daughter, and stated he didn’t want her there anymore. The offender couldn’t be located.

July 9

Officers responded to a report of a vehicle loitering outside of a restaurant with the headlights going through the window. When speaking with the driver, he stated he was there to see a friend. The officer noticed an odor of marijuana, and asked to search the vehicle. They found a pipe, a small amount of marijuana, and a clear bag of crystal methamphetamine. He was arrested.

A report was made of a damaged vehicle. The front left tire of the vehicle fell off while crossing the train tracks.

Officers responded to a report of theft at Walmart. The offender was “skip scanning”, and didn’t pay for $156.25 worth of items. He was arrested.

A report was made of a dispute. The complainant stated that the offender was being irate and accusing others of stealing his cigarettes. While this was going on, a female was having seizures. The offender was not allowed to be alone due to his mental disabilities, so he was told to calm down.

Officers arrested a male due to him having a warrant for his arrest.

A report was made of a dog at large. The complainant stated her dog was attacked by other stray dogs, and she was advised to call animal control.

July 10

A report was made of someone moving property. The complainant stated he believes someone has been moving his antenna around on the roof and causing roof damage.

A report was made of a dispute. Upon arriving at the residence, a male and female were in the yard having a verbal altercation. The male stated the female came to get their kids and hit him with a baseball bat and umbrella. The female stated that the male hit her in the head, but no visible marks were shown. The male doesn’t wish to press charges, but the female wants a protective order against the male.

July 11

Officers requested a vehicle be towed due to it being broken down.

Officers responded to a report of theft at Walmart. The offender used the “skip scan” method, and was gone from the scene when the officers arrived.

A report was made of terroristic threats and acts. The complainant stated they were receiving text saying that they knew where to find the complainants grandchildren and were threatening to shoot up their workplace. The text came from a fake number.

Officers responded to a report of criminal trespassing. The complainant stated that their window was broken, and they were trying to get it ready for rental.

A man was arrested for not paying for his food and for also being irate.

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a male driving unlicensed. He was arrested.

July 12

Officers arrested a male due to him having a warrant for his arrest.

Officers responded to a report of a dispute. A female was told to leave work due to her abusing her company vehicle privileges. She refused to leave until the officers arrived.

Officers received a call about a male doing suspicious activities near an apartment complex, but the person couldn’t be located.

Officers responded to a report of theft at Walmart. The lost prevention officer stated an employee was stealing items and bagging them in the bakery, out of sight. The offender was gone when the officers arrived.

Officers performed a traffic stop due to a tail light being out. The driver had a marijuana odor on them, so the officers searched the vehicle, and found the suspected marijuana. She was arrested.
