October 9

Officer was dispatched to Walmart Tire Center in reference to damage to a vehicle.  Complainant stated she hit a spot in the road on S. Main St. that used her tire to go flat and the service worker at Walmart showed her a cut in the tire and it was apps. $125 for repairs.

Officer was patrolling Lambs Bridge Rd. and noticed a vehicle with a broken out taillight lens so he conducted a traffic stop.  The driver stated he left his license at home, but it was found that his license were suspended.

October 10

Officer began receiving complaints of loud music on Brantley St. After speaking with offender for the third time, he was advised to turn the music off and if they received any more calls, he would be cited. A fourth call was received and the offender was issued a citation.

Officers responded to W. MLK Blvd. in reference to disorderly conduct that occurred earlier that night on Williams St.

Officer was dispatched to Rentz St. in reference to stalking.

Officer received a call to respond to Family Dollar in reference to an unruly customer.

Officer responded to Lewis St. in reference to a dispute over a car.

October 11

Officer was dispatched to Lucky St. in reference to a dispute.

Officer was dispatched back to Lucky St. in reference to theft by taking.

Officer was dispatched to Modoc Rd. in reference to an ex-boyfriend threatening to kill.

Officer observed a vehicle with a headlight out and initiated a traffic stop.  Upon contact, it was found that the vehicle was uninsured.

October 12

Officer was dispatched in reference to damage to a vehicle.

Officer was dispatched to  Days Inn in reference to a male subject that was not a registered guest and refused to leave when asked by management, and was issued a criminal trespass warning. Later, offender was at the front door of the Deluxe Inn and was arrested for failure to comply.

October 13

Complainant turned in a wallet that was found in Subway parking lot.

Officer met with complainant who wanted to report stolen items from her residence on W. Church St.

Officer was dispatched to S. Main St. in reference to a prior dispute.

Officer responded to W. MLK in reference to a large group of people who appeared to be fighting.

Officer responded back to W. MLK in reference to a large group of people who were in a physical altercation.

Officer was dispatched to EMC where complainant stated she was jumped on by multiple women on W. MLK.

October 14

Officer took a report in reference to complainant’s 10-year-old daughter revealing information about her uncle for child molestation and enticing a child for indecent purposes.

Officer responded to W. Morning St. in reference to criminal trespass.

Officer was dispatched to Enmarket where complainant/cashier stated an older unknown male went into the store two nights in a row and harassed and threatened him for no reason.

Officer was positioned on Old Nunez Rd. for the purpose of a subject whom wanted to harm himself. Officer stopped the vehicle based on info given by 911 and the male subject was in it.  Offender was transported to Em. Co. ER for evaluation.

October 15

Officer passed a vehicle and was alerted by the tag reader that the vehicle had cancelled registration.  Officer turned around and verified that this was correct and also learned that the vehicle did not have any valid insurance.

October 17

Officer was dispatched to Center St. in reference to someone shooting a gun into someone’s home.

911 dispatched officers to the area of Harmon Park in reference to shots been fired. Officer was flagged down by an older man that asked if he was looking for the people responsible for shooting.  Witness stated a car pulled up and a couple of women got out and went to the bathroom and another car pulled up and a male started arguing with a female. The vehicles went to leave and the person in the second vehicle pulled out a gun and shot 4-6 times towards the entrance of the park.

October 18

Officer was dispatched to Lee St. in reference to people parking in the well marked area across from his church.

Officer responded back to Center St. in reference to shots being fired into an apartment window.
