June 5

Officer responded to SPD in reference to a walk-in report. Complainant stated that she was unsure of the exact date or location, but an unknown vehicle had struck her vehicle causing functional damage to the passenger side rear quarter panel.

Officers responded to East Pine Street regarding individuals operating four-wheelers on the property. The scene was cleared. A short time later, officers were dispatched back to the same location for another complaint of four-wheelers on the property. It was advised that they were trying to leave, but the ATV would not remain running.

Officer responded to Project Street in reference to a dispute. C/p stated that she and the other party were inside the apartment as she was preparing to get her hair done. She was then locked out and stated she only wanted to retrieve her items.

Officer was dispatched to Gumlog Road in reference to a dispute over a lawn mower. C/p stated that he purchased a push lawn mower from offender. While using the lawn mower, he stated he cut around 20 feet of grass and then it shut off and would not restart. He further stated that offender let him use a personal mower while the broken one was being repaired. He stated that he asked for a refund for the mower when the offender began using profanity toward him and told him to leave his yard. The offender stated that c/p was the one using profanity and acting irate.

Officer responded to East Pine Street in reference to a domestic dispute in progress. Upon attempting to speak to the offender, he continued yelling and said “Y’all are going to have to kill me”. He was advised that officers were not going to do that and he continued yelling and walking with his hands balled into fists as if prepared to fight. Officer pulled his taser and deployed it due to non-compliance. Additional units responded and finally detained offender, then arrested him.

June 6

Officer responded to North Main Street in reference to a vandalized air conditioning unit. C/p stated that an unknown offender had stolen the copper components from the unit and also removed the condenser.

Officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired registration. Officer detected an odor of marijuana and asked the driver to step out of the vehicle. After a search was conducted, cocaine was located. Offender was arrested.

Officer heard two gunshots come from the area of Central Street and West Church Street. While driving northbound on North Central Street, three to four more gunshots were heard. A male was located who refused to provide his name but was later identified. While searching the area, another male was noncompliant and told officers he did not give them permission to be on his property. He was advised that his back yard was a crime scene and to not cross the crime scene tape and continued to cross the tape. This subject was placed under arrest for obstruction. The offender who shot the gun was not located at that time.

June 7

Officer was dispatched to the area of Center Street in reference to a fight involving several individuals outside a residence. Upon arrival, officers were advised that the offender had already left the scene. The victim did not wish to pursue charges. According to the victim, she asked the offender if he was going to take his girlfriend to Waffle King. He reportedly took offense to the statement and pushed her to the ground.

Officer responded to Happiness Drive in reference to a theft. C/p stated that her daughter took $530 off her Chime card without her permission. She stated that she has been having issues with her daughter not following the rules of the household. The daughter stated that she did take the money because someone called her and told her that if she sent them the money then they’d send her approximately $2200 back. She stated that after she sent the money, she found out it was a scam.

Officer responded to Project Street in reference to the caller advising her neighbor was doing drugs inside the apartment.

Emanuel County 911 dispatched officers to Calhoun Street in reference to a dispute. The female subject stated that her daughter rents the residence and that the other offender is her daughter’s boyfriend. She advised that she had to come to the residence to speak with her daughter when he became irate and used profanity language towards her. He was also found to have an active warrant and was arrested.

June 8

Officer responded to East Pine Street in reference to a family dispute. All parties were met upon arrival and separated.

Officer responded to Harmon Park in reference to a domestic dispute in progress. C/p stated that she and the offender were in a verbal argument regarding repairs to her window on her vehicle. She advised that they had recently ended their relationship and the offender wanted to discuss getting back together. All parties were separated.

Officer responded to SPD in reference to a report. C/p stated that she went to file a claim on her vehicle and needed a report from law enforcement. She stated that a few days before, she was at Walmart and was loading her vehicle with groceries when she noticed damage to her vehicle.

Officer was dispatched to Oaklawn Drive in reference to individuals fishing in the pond here no fishing was allowed. The offender left the scene.

Officer responded to Jerome Street in reference to a complaint of a stolen bicycle. C/p stated that her neighbor’s son took her child’s bicycle.

June 9

Officer responded to South Green Street in reference to a civil dispute between the victim and the offender. Victim stated that approximately four months before, she had taken her vehicle to offender for repairs and had already paid for them. She was requesting either the return or a refund of the money paid.

Officer took a walk-in report at SPD. C/p stated that her ex-boyfriend is with another girl who has been harassing her.

Officer was dispatched to Stevens Drive in reference to an unwanted subject that would not leave. The offender left before police arrival.

Emanuel County 911 dispatched officers to the area of Jerome Street and New Street in reference to a female who was assaulted. The victim gave information on who the offender was. She stated that he came across the open area between New and Jerome Street wearing a mask and began punching her in the face.

Officer was dispatched to Lucky Street in reference to the caller’s mother and another female arguing with no weapons involved. All parties were separated.

Officer responded to King Circle Drive in reference to a prowler. C/p stated that someone came close to her carport door because the camera on alerted motion. No one was located.

Officer was dispatched to the area of Gumlog and McLeod Bridge Road in reference to a fight where the caller stated her son and another male were fighting. The offender was arrested for aggravated assault.

Officer responds to Lewis Street in reference to the caller stating that there was someone in his apartment. There was no one located in the apartment and a family member was called to stay with him.

Officer was dispatched to West Street in reference to the offender pulling a gun on c/p. C/p stated that a male living in his mother’s back yard was selling drugs and when he went back there another male pulled a gun on him.

June 10

Officer took a report at SPD. C/p stated that he was riding his bike through the City of Swainsboro and lost his wallet.

Officers responded to Lee Street in reference to a runaway juvenile. The child was located ad explained that she and her mother had gotten into a fight and that she had left the residence. The mother stated that prior to leaving, the juvenile advised her that she was leaving and she attempted to stop her from leaving. She stated the juvenile then grabbed her by the shirt and hair while yelling for her to move out of the way. The juvenile was placed under arrest.

C/p stated that her sister went to Walmart Pharmacy to pick up two prescription medications. She stated that when she returned home, only one prescription was in the bag. After watching surveillance footage, it was seen that pharmacy employees put both prescriptions in the bag.

Emanuel County 911 dispatched officers to Thompson’s Minit Mart in reference to a report of unauthorized use of a debit card. C/p stated that she discovered multiple unauthorized charges on her debit card and the offender was identified. The card was then cancelled.

June 11

Officers responded to West Main Street in reference to an unruly juvenile. C/p stated that her grandson broke into her house and stole food. She further stated that he had a case with DJJ and was currently on an ankle monitor.

Officers responded to Glenwood Road in reference to a theft in progress. Offender was arrested.
