Officers responded to Main & Main in reference to a pole on the sidewalk being knocked over.
Officer was dispatched to SHS in reference to an alarm near the baseball field.
March 27
Officer performed a traffic stop on Thigpen Dr. due to the driver failing to maintain lane. Officer could smell a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from the driver’s person and asked how much he had to drink and he stated one. Officer then asked the driver if he could perform some field sobriety tests and he said okay. Officer could see a lack of smooth pursuit in both eyes, and he could not perform the test accurately. He was laughing and did not appear to be able to perform anymore field sobriety testing and was unsteady on his feet. Driver then took the PBT which showed positive for alcohol. Offender was placed under arrest and transported to EmCo Jail.
Officers responded to Shearouse St. regarding a child refusing to go to school.
Officers were dispatched to WalMart in reference to damage to a vehicle. Complainant stated offender flattened her tires and has been repeatedly calling and messaging her. Officer reviewed video footage which showed offender pulling into the space beside c/p, exit the vehicle, then return and leave. After a short period, the vehicle was observed lowering on the passenger side, consistent with the tires going flat. Front and rear tire appeared to have been punctured by a sharp object in the sidewalls.
Officer responded to McMillan Dr. in reference to a domestic dispute.
March 28
Officer was dispatched to King Circle Dr. in reference to a caller stating there was a truck parked in the empty lot next to her residence and she observed vehicles lights turning on and off. Officer made contact with the driver who was pulling a camper, and he stated he and his aunt owned the property and he was in the process of setting the camper up on the property. Officer notified c/p and she stated she was unaware of who it was but confirmed he was the owner and she would not have called 911 had she known.
Officer was dispatched to Swainsboro Apartments in reference to offender kicking complainant’s door in. C/p also advised that she had s TPO against offender. Officer made contact with offender and confirmed the TPO and observed a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming form his breath. Offender also had bloodshot eyes and lightly slurred speech and was consistently passive-resistant to questioning. Offender was placed under arrest and was physically resisting. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail and agreed to a state-administered blood test. He was then transported to EMC where his speech became increasingly slurred and he stated he needed medical attention due to “head trauma from the cop car” and began acting hysterical, claiming chest pain from a prior gunshot in 2020, then laid on the floor stating he needed a doctor. Offender was assisted into a chair. Offender then stated he wanted to be seen by a doctor prior to any blood draw. While walking toward triage, he again became hysterical, laid on the floor and requested his mother. After being helped up, he entered triage and stated he was going to “skip this”, referring to the blood draw and refused the state-administered test. Offender became verbally aggressive toward ER staff and made exaggerated breathing sounds and slip out of a chair onto the floor. While being evaluated, offender refused treatment and requested transport to a hospital in Augusta. Medical monitoring indicated everything was within normal limits and when asked about drug use, offender admitted to smoking crack cocaine the previous day. Offender’s aunt arrived and stated he was acting a fool and possibly under the influence of drugs. Offender continued refusing medical treatment and was released by ER staff. Offender was then escorted out by officers. While exiting, offender refused to walk normally, hopping on his left leg and dragging his right leg, but placed full weight on his right leg without issue when entering the patrol unit. Offender was transported back to EmCo Jail, and his behavior was noticeably different and no longer consistent with the behavior at the hospital.
Officers responded to Prosperity Dr. in reference to a dispute.
Officer took a walk-in report where complainant stated her boyfriend hit her, choked her, stomped her ribs, punched her in the face and kept her phone so she couldn’t call 911. Officer observed redness and bruising, as well as scratches and scrapes on c/p. Officers made contact with offender who refused to be cooperative. Offender was arrested due to physical evidence of injury to c/p and transported to EmCo Jail where he refused to give info for the booking process and faked needing medical attention.
Officers were dispatched to Lucky St. in reference to an adult male engaging in inappropriate conduct with a 16-year-old female. Officer knocked on the door and announced SP three times, with no response. Assisting officers made contact attempts and received no response. There were no lights on inside the residence and no audible sounds were heard.
Officers were dispatched to Powell St. in reference to dogs from W Church St. being in complainant’s yard. Officer observed several dogs in the drive and offender was in the process of attempting to get them into the fenced-in portion of his yard. Officer explained the reason for his presence and offender stated he was sorry and was working to get them back in the fence, as well as repairing the areas where they escaped.
Officer was dispatched to Lucky St. in reference to a domestic dispute. Complainant stated he was awakened by his ex-girlfriend who gained entry by breaking a piece of plexiglass and unlocking the door. C/p advised a verbal argument occurred, then placed their two small children in her vehicle and left in an erratic manner.
March 29
Officers responded to Lee St. in reference to a physical altercation. Officer observed a SUV with a child standing out of the sunroof yelling and a male subject behind the vehicle. Officer was able to stop the SUV and the driver exited and the male and female began yelling at each other while walking toward one another, and the male walked inside the residence. Officer asked the female what was going on, and she stated a female drove past her home on Gumlog Rd. “throwing the bird” and yelling, so she went to their residence. Officers reviewed video footage and offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officers were dispatched to Mitchell St. in reference to an alarm.
Officers were dispatched to Norwood Ave. in reference to a domestic dispute. Both offenders were transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer observed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. GCIC indicated the registration was suspended and there was no valid insurance. Officer made contact with the driver and recognized her from a prior incident involving the same vehicle which had been involved in a MVA with no registration or insurance. Offender stated she was aware of the suspended registration and no insurance but she as on the way to the store to get medicine for her toddler who had a fever and it was an emergency. Officer explained that did not justify operating the vehicle on a public road and was advised to have someone pick her and her toddler up. Offender received three citations and vehicle was towed.
Officer was dispatched to N Green St. in reference to a 911 open line call. 911 advised they were able to make contact with the caller who stated their child accidentally called.
March 30
Officers were dispatched to E Pine St. in reference to individual having a TPO. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer responded to Easy Stop in reference to a dispute. Complainant stated purchased she $27 worth of lottery tickets and gave the cashier a $20 and $100 to receive change and was shorted $20. Video surveillance showed offender separating bills in her hand and placing one bill back into her purse, then took the $100 bill out and cashier provided her $73. Cashier wished to issue a criminal trespass notice to offender and her granddaughter for six months.
Officer was dispatched to Brown St. in reference to a 911 hang-up call where a kid stated he called by accident.

Officer was dispatched to W Moring St. in reference to complainant stating her mother took her keys and would not return them. The mother stated she took the keys because her daughter was speeding and not listening.
March 31
Officer was dispatched to Jemison Metals in reference to an alarm.
Officer was dispatched to Jefferson St. in reference to an alarm call.
Officer responded to Wendy’s in reference to an employee pulling a knife on a customer. Officer watched video footage depicting offender yelling profanities and threatening employee with a knife. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer responded to Lake Luck Dr. in reference to tow males fishing in a private pond.
Officer was dispatched to WalMart in reference to a shoplifter. 911 advised the male subject was leaving and left a backpack under a van. Items left in the shopping cart and in the backpack totaled $300.29. Offender was located on S Green St. dressed in different clothing. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officers were dispatched to WalMart in reference to a male having seizures and fell and hit his head. He was responsive to painful stimuli.
Officers were dispatched to Jerome St. in reference to a fight. Complainant stated offender went to his house and began fussing and attempting to start an altercation and he needed to stay away from his residence. Offender was yelling and carrying on about his brother being killed on Jerome St. and would not respond to any questions. Offender was placed under arrest for public intox. A second c/p exited her residence and stated offender started beating on her door and kicked her trash can over. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
April 1
Officer responded to Gumlog Rd. in reference to a domestic. Victim stated she and offender got into an argument and offender left to de-escalate the situation.
Officer responded to Citi Trends in reference to a shoplifting incident. Officers had already made an arrest on offender for shoplifting at WalMart. Offender admitted to taking items totaling $51.18.
Officer responded to Family Dollar in reference to a shoplifter. Officers had already made an arrest on offender for shoplifting at WalMart and Citi Trends. Items taken totaled $16.
Officer conducted a traffic stop to find bath salts/boric acid and marijuana.
Complainant stated a female keeps walking by her house trying to fight her and has been harassing her.
Officers were dispatched to Calhoun St in reference to complainant stating a woman was running down the road crying. Officers rode the area but had negative contact.
Officer responded to N Green St. in reference to an unwanted person.
Officer responded to N Main St. in reference to driver failing to maintain lane and striking a vehicle. Driver’s eyes were bloodshot and smelled of alcoholic beverage. Offender was belligerent and cursing at officers. Officer attempted to perform a field sobriety, but he was very unsteady on his feet. A PBT was performed and offender was arrested for DUI and transported to EmCo Jail.
April 2
Officers were dispatched to W Church St. in reference to complainant stating offender had a gun. C/p stated offender pointed the gun at her head. C/p was found to be a convicted felon and was unaware that a firearm was in the residence until the incident.
Officer spoke with complainant in reference to a dispute.

Officer observed a vehicle with a brake light out, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Driver lit a cigarette and officer approached the window and officer could smell the odor of burned marijuana. During a search, two meth pipes were located. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
April 2
Officers were dispatched to Freedom St. in reference to a female sitting beside the road and clothing scattered in the roadway. Victim stated she was put out by offender and he threw her clothes in the road.
