April 10
Officers were dispatched to Lewis St. in reference to a subject stating he felt unsafe. Complainant stated they were in his house taking over and left when he approached the door and started speaking with officers. There were no signs of anyone on scene other than c/p and no one exit4ed the residence while officers were there. C/p is seeing objects/people who don’t exist and continues to call the non-emergency number and hangs up on dispatch.
Officers were dispatched to W MLK Blvd. and Lewis St. in reference to a MVA. Officers arrived and found a vehicle in the cemetery that struck a tree. A male subject stated he drove by and saw smoke coming from the vehicle and took the driver to the hospital. Officer responded to EMC ER and confirmed the driver was there and notified officers on scene that the driver tried to commit suicide.
Officer took a report in reference to complainant stating she had previous reports involving her neighbor/offender being sexually inappropriate and he put notes on vehicles parked at her residence containing explicit sexual verbal desires towards her and her friends. C/p stated a female was leaving her residence on Friendly Way and offender was standing on his porch and began rubbing his genital area while doing sexual hand signals towards her. Officer met with offender who stated he never showed his private part outside of his clothing but did do hand gestures and other sexual hand gestures. Offender was advised he could not harass neighbors in this manner, and they did not want or appreciate the attention he was giving them, and he needed to stop and he stated he would not anymore.
Officer spoke with complainant in reference to a custody dispute.
Officer responded to E Pine St. in reference to a physical altercation. Complainant stated she gave her sister/offender wanted to retrieve a TV from her residence and c/p told her no and that she would take it to her later. C/p advised offender began yelling and arguing and when they arrived at c/p’s residence, offender went inside and got the TV. C/p stated when offender exited, she began striking the side of c/p’s vehicle with her hand and foot.
April 11
Officers were dispatched to Project St. in reference to offender allegedly selling illegal narcotics. Officer did not observe any individuals engaging in hand-to-hand transactions or any activity consistent with the sale or distribution of illegal drugs.
Officer was dispatched to Peebles St. in reference to a dispute.
Officer responded to S Mill St. in reference to a single vehicle accident. Driver stated he was speeding and clipped a light pole. While officer was standing with offender, another officer observed two firearms in plain view through the chain-link fence in the adjacent parking lot. During a thorough search of the vehicle, officer located an 8 oz. baby bottle containing app. 6 oz. of a green liquid substance suspected to be “lean”, a street term for a controlled substance mixture commonly containing codeine/promethazine combined with soda and/or candy. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officers were dispatched to Lucky St. in reference to complainant reporting the next-door neighbor was on her daughter’s porch with no pants on and her daughter was out of town. Officer attempted to make contact with offender by knocking on the door multiple times and announcing himself with no response. Officer then contacted offender’s girlfriend who contacted offender and got him to answer the door. Offender was unable to provide a reason for being on the neighbor’s porch in his underwear.
Officers were dispatched to Enmarket in reference to stolen fuel. Complainant stated a male subject in a red truck walked inside and paid for $20 in fuel. C/p advised the store became very busy and the next time he checked the fuel pumps, a different vehicle was there, then the red truck pulled back up to the pump. C/p stated the total amount of fuel dispensed was $192.50.
Officer responded to W MLK Dr. in reference to a dog bite and victim went to EMC ER.
April 12
Officers responded to S. Main St. in reference to a domestic. One offender was found to be wanted through Fulton Co. Marshalls Dept. for embezzlement and theft by conversion and they wanted a hold placed.
Officers were dispatched to WalMart in reference to two males involved in an altercation. Officers responded to latitude 105 in reference to a welfare check on a 14-year-old female who was possibly wanting to harm herself. Officers made contact with the juvenile who stated she was having suicidal thoughts and was transported to EMC ER for evaluation.
Officers were dispatched to Lucky St. in reference to EMS responding to an unresponsive male who was foaming at the mouth. Victim was transported to EMC ER.
April 13
Officer responded to Queensboro Bank in reference to victim stating she was informed that she was the winner from Publisher’s Clearing House and requested her to withdraw $1,000 from her account.
Officer responded to Soloman St. in reference to caller requesting a welfare check on their neighbor. Officers arrived and stated they could smell a foul odor and believed victim was in need of medical treatment. Victim was found lying in bed alert and oriented and stated she just had surgery and could not get out of bed, but she was ok and did not need medical assistance.
Officers were dispatched to N Racetrack St. in reference to a fight.
Officer responded to Amerson Towing in reference to an entering auto complaint. Complainant stated two male subjects went into the impound yard to retrieve personal items from a vehicle that had been towed following a crash. C/p also advised she discovered $95 and other items were missing from her vehicle.
April 14
Officer responded to Fowler St. in reference to harassment. Complainant stated an unknown person began knocking on her windows and cut the cables wires outside of her residence, left a water faucet running and left the gates to her back yard open. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer responded to S Green St. in reference to a theft complaint.
Officer took a walk-in report where complainant stated offender took his wallet and has not returned it.
Officer was dispatched to S Main St. in reference to reported sexual battery. Complainant stated an unknown male subject approached her room and entered uninvited and closed the door, blocking it in a way that caused her to become fearful.
Officers were dispatched to Lucky St. in reference to a theft of motor vehicle.
Officer was on Lucky St. when he heard what sounded like an altercation behind Lucky St. and observed a male subject running toward him and another male subject chasing him. Male subject was about 6 feet away from officer when offender fired a single shot in his direction. Officer could not see offender’s face due to his hoodie being pulled over his face. Victim fell to the ground and when officer turned around, offender was gone.
Detective met with complainant and her daughter in reference to terroristic threats, harassing communications and bullying. C/p stated her daughter and her group of friends have been associating with a male and since his relationship ended with his ex, she has been threatening and bullying several of the c/p’s daughter and her friends. C/p stated she contacted the ex-girlfriend’s father who stated he was unaware of the situation but would address it but the harassment has continued.
April 15
Officers were dispatched to Swainsboro Housing Authority in reference to a dispute where complainant stated offender was the same individual involved in a shooting the previous night.
Officers were dispatched to Ben St. in reference to a stolen package.
Officers were dispatched to Enmarket in reference to a theft. Complainant stated he left his wallet on the counter or dropped it outside and $70 was missing out of it when it was turned in by two females.
Complainant stated offender went through the McDonald’s drive through and began having a verbal altercation wanting to fight, and this was the second time offender has done this.
April 16
Officers responded to Pinetucky County Meats in reference to a theft. Complainant stated two males entered the store and one purchased a Coca-Cola to confuse the cashier. One male subject gave the cashier a $100 bill to pay for the drink and the cashier counted out change and handed it to the male. The male then began speaking to the cashier and the cashier removed the $100 bill from the cash register. The male handed the change back to the cashier and retrieved the $100 bill and continued speaking to the cashier while placing additional bills with the original change. The cashier then counted the money that was returned and the male placed the original $100 bill on top of the stack of money and pointed toward the cash register. The cashier then counted out additional money in $20 bills and handed it to the male. Suspects obtained $297.12 during the encounter.
Officer responded to Tom’s Pawn in reference to a vehicle fire.
Officers responded to EMC ER in reference to an irate patient. ER staff stated the patient had been irate and threatening them. While officer was speaking with the patient, she stated she would kill all of them, while continuing to yell loudly and act disorderly. Offender was placed under arrest and transported to EmCo Jail.
Officers were dispatched in reference to a call about a male subject lying in the ditch. Officer conducted a GCIC check that revealed offender had outstanding warrants out of Oregon, Washington and Idaho with extradition limitations indicating in-state pickup only.
Officer was advised of an active warrant for offender’s arrest. Officer responded to Freedom St. and informed offender that he was under arrest and transported him to EmCo Jail.
Officer was dispatched to Freedom St. in reference to caller stating a female was removing items from a residence. C/p stated he observed offender removing two TVs and a PS4 from the residence that belongs to victim. Victim’s mother arrived and stated that to her knowledge, the items belong to victim. Officer spoke with victim who stated he gave offender permission to take the TVs and PS4 in order to sell them so she could have money for food.
Officers were dispatched to W Main St. in reference to a shed fire.
Officer responded King Circle Dr. in reference to an unruly juvenile who got irate and angry with his grandmother when she confronted him about where he had been.
