Officers with the Swainsboro Police Department (SPD) reported…

December 14

Officer observed a vehicle with no headlights or taillights on, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Officer asked for the driver’s license and he stated he did not have them and they are suspended. Officer ran the license to fine they are suspended and offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

Officers were dispatched to Canoochee Rd. in reference to a call about individuals being mean to an elderly. Offender stated her daughter-in-law had been mean to her and she was seeing people that were not there. Complainant stated offender just came from the hospital due to passing out in her vehicle and freezing. C/p stated she is worried about offender due to her being on so many medications and started talking nonsense a week prior. C/p stated she went to offender’s residence the night prior to check on her and that’s when she found her in her vehicle and called the ambulance. Offender stated many times that she did not want to stay at her son’s residence because they would start arguing and she did not want to do that. Offender also stated many times that someone would get into her pills and she had to start hiding them. Offender later stated she felt that she needed to go to the hospital to get checked so she was transported to EMC ER.

Officer responded to the Budget Inn for the purpose of a drug investigation. While looking for the individual, a concerned citizen approached him and advised there was molly in the room. At this time, the individual that the officer was looking for walked up. Other officers were advised of the complainant about the illegal drugs so they approached the room and identified themselves and a male subject opened the door. Officers informed him of the rea-son they were there and asked about the illegal drugs and he stated there wasn’t any in the room so officers asked if he had a problem with them looking and he invited them in. Officer observed some cut straws, a glass pipes, a tied-up baggie and meth. Two offenders were transported to EmCo Jail.

December 15

Officers received a call in reference to a male subject cursing and trying to fight employees. Upon arrival, the male subject was gone. Offender was located and stated he did not threat-en anyone.

Officer took a walk-in report in reference to a damaged vehicle. Complainant stated he was parked at WalMart and someone hit his vehicle.

Officer was dispatched to Family Dollar in reference to complainant stating he has been da-ting a female that works at the store and her husband went inside the store and told c/p her was going to beat him up. Offender was in the parking lot and stated he did tell c/p that and was going to but his son was with him. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

Officer was dispatched to Holsonback Rentals in reference to complainant stating she was having a problem getting into her storage locker and advised Holsonback of the issue. C/p stated she went to her storage unit and the lock had been cut off and someone went through her belongings and some ibins were missing.

Officer was dispatched to SPD in reference to complainant stating her vehicle was struck by another vehicle. Officer spoke with the driver of the other vehicle and he sated he did hit c/p’s vehicle and would take his insurance information to SPD for the report.

Officer was dispatched to Advance St. in reference to a damaged front screen door. Com-plainant stated her son damaged the lock while attempting to get inside. C/p stated she is worried that her son is going to hurt her so she was advised of the TPO process. C/p advised she wanted officers present when her son went to get his belongings.

December 16

Officers responded to New St. in reference to a burglary. An unknown male subject kicked in the back door and stole a jar of coins and four packs cigarettes. Offender also tore through the front porch screen to obstruct the camera.

Officer was dispatched to Braswell Blvd. in reference to a male stating his girlfriend’s family was the to beat him up. Officers spoke with the female who stated complainant got upset because she was on the phone with her family. Officer heard offender yelling and using vul-gar language and asked him to watch his language and offender then made a statement with more vulgar language. Offender was placed under arrest and transported to EmCo Jail.

December 17

Officer responded to W. Church St. in reference to complainant advising it appeared that two male subjects were attempting to break into her vacant property observed through her cameras.

Officer responded to Burger King in reference to a vehicle damage. Complainant advised she hit a pothole causing damage to her vehicle.

Officer responded to Old Nunez Rd. in reference to a dog that had been shot.

Officers were dispatched to Lewis St. in reference to damaged property. 911 stated the girl-friend’s sister kicked the door in. Complainant stated offender was drinking and began look-ing for her keys when she started accusing them and became irate and busted the glass door, destroyed the back porch and turned over several plants before leaving on foot.

Officer was dispatched to Domino’s in reference to a fake $100 bill.
