January 9
Office arrived at 716 King Circle Drive in reference toa subject who had been stabbed.
January 10
Office arrived at Harmon Park in reference to a subject who claimed to have been bitten.
Officer was dispatched to West Moring Street Apartments in reference to a disturbance.
Officers were dispatched to Lake Luck Drive in reference to disturbance.
Officers arrived at South Racetrack Street and made contact with complainant who stated that the offender was bothering him and wanted the subject out of his home. Complainant stated that this is a constant issue in the home. Officer was dispatched back for a second time. 911 advised the male subject came home and found an 8-month-old child home alone in the pack and play. Subject stated he left his home after officer left the scene the first time and stayed gone for about two hours. He stated when he returned home the 8-month-old was alone. After further investigation, DFACS was called and took custody.
Officer was dispatched to South Circle Dr. in reference to a noise complaint.
Officer was dispatched to Liberty Street in reference to a vehicle that was driving recklessly.
Officers were dispatched to College Street in reference to a domestic. Officer was approached by subject and stated she had a small scrape on her leg and was bleeding. Officer made contact with offender who stated they had both been drinking and had gotten into verbal altercation. Both subjects were transported to EmCo Jail.
Officer was dispatched to South Main Street in reference to the caller stating a male subject has been offering the workers sexual favors.
Officers responded to S Main Steet in reference to a dispute between a shift manager and a cook. Manager stated the cook was upset after she instructed him not to step on the floor because she had just mopped it. Offender left on foot and officers were unsuccessful in locating offender.
January 11
Officer was dispatched to West Main Street in reference to a dog bite. Upon arrival officer made contact with the complainant who had two punctured wounds on her wrist and hand that were actively bleeding. Complainant was in her backyard when neighbor’s dog approached her and attacked her. Animal Control took possession of the dog.
Officer responded to Thigpen Dr in response to a damaged mailbox.
Officer observed a truck run off the road twice onto the grass area then swerved into oncoming traffic. Officer conducted a traffic stop and smelled a strong odor of alcohol and was turned over to ECSO for further investigation.
Officer was dispatched to South Coleman Street in reference to a break-in. Complainant stated that they were the building owners and had moved the cinder blocks from the front porch entryway of the building and stacked the beneath the South facing window of the building. Complainants stated that it did not appear that anything was missing but several items inside has been moved around.
Officer conducted a traffic stop and discovered that the vehicles registration was suspended. Subject was also under the influence of alcohol and failed the field sobriety testing, and a portable breath test indicated the presence of alcohol on his breath. A search revealed a small plastic bag located in offender’s left pocket containing a white powdery substance, which was field tested positive for cocaine and approximately 1.20 grams of suspected marijuana was found in the vehicle.
January 12
Officer was dispatched to South Circle Drive in reference to an alarm.
Officer responded to Kite Road in reference to an altercation.
Officer responded to EGSC in reference to a deer-related vehicle accident.
Officer responded to N. Central Street in reference to damage to property complaint.
Officer responded to Fortune Loop in reference to a suspicious person call. Complainant stated a male subject was in her yard. Officer located two males waling the area who identified themselves as members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and were going door-to-door preaching the gospel. Officer advised the subjects that it would be better to return during the daylight hours.
January 13
Officer responded to Chapman Funeral Home in reference to someone dumping dirt and roots on the property.
Officers were dispatched to Mary Ann St. in reference to a male that needed EMS due to being confused. Officer transported the male to the hospital due to EMS not being enroute yet and it was a non-emergency situation.
Gwinnett Co. PD informed SPD of a stolen firearm at Tom’s Pawn Shop. Tom’s employee gave the name of the person that pawned it and provided the pawn ticket.
Officer responded to W. Short St. in reference to a truck on fire. Swainsboro Fire responded and extinguished the fire.
Officer responded to N. Coleman St. in reference to a dispute. Complainant stated she was having conflict with individuals on social media. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail for disorderly conduct.
Officer took a walk-in report where complainant stated offender entered Piggly Wiggly and exited with several unpaid items. Offender turned herself in and was arrested.
January 14
Officer took a walk-in report in reference to complainant stating someone almost ran him off the road.
Officer was dispatched to 7th St. in reference to a dispute.
Officer responded to N. Main St. in reference to a 911 hang-up call. Several individuals stated they did not call 911 and everything seemed to be ok.
January 15
Officer served a warrant on offender and transported him to EmCo Jail.
Officer responded to WalMart in reference to a complaint of a male looking in vehicles. Officer made contact with the male subject who denied the accusations and he was instructed to leave the property. Complainant stated she and others observed offender looking in vehicle and observed him pull on the door handle of one vehicle but was unable to gain entry.
Officer took a walk-in report where complainant stated a female she briefly worked for in 2025 had a computer with accessories that belongs to her and refuses to give it back. Contact was made with the female who stated multiple items were stolen from her while c/p was working for her. C/p’s computer was returned to her.
Officer observed a vehicle with a non-working brake light, at which time he conducted a traffic stop. Driver did not present a driver license and upon running her info, her license came back suspended and she had an active warrant through Emanuel Co. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.
