September 25

Officer responded to Hopkins St. in reference to a dispute between roommates.

Officer responded to Dandelion St. in reference to an unwanted person.

Officer observed fail to stop at a stop sign, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. Officer asked for the driver’s license and he stated he did not have them but provided an ID card. Officer ran the driver’s license to find they are suspended for serious violations and child support. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

Officer met complainant at The Moose Lodge in reference to c/p advising there was a previ-ous dispute at the location and he wanted law enforcement present while he removed his personal belongings from the building.

September 26

Officer met with complaint in reference to offender impersonating a police/public officer. Of-ficer was able to identify offender and had him go to SPD for an interview. Offender stated he did not say he was an off-duty police officer, but the officer advised a witness stated of-fender did state he was and completed a witness statement. Offender was placed under ar-rest and transported to EmCo Jail.

Officer responded to STC in reference to a male subject following a female subject inside the location. Complainant appeared to be terrified and was visibly upset while crying and shak-ing, and looked outside the building and pointed at the vehicle in the parking lot and ad-vised that was the male subject. C/p advised she and offender were in a previous relation-ship but had been broken up for appx. one month and she had taken a TPO out on him. Of-fender was transported to EmCo Jail.

Officer could not see the tag on a vehicle, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. After the vehicle pulled over, the driver’s door opened and a male subject got out and started walking towards officer’s patrol unit. Officer got out and advised offender to get back in his vehicle and asked for his license. Offender’s license came back suspended and was transported to EmCo Jail.

September 27

Officer was dispatched to Lewis St. in reference to complainant stating his cellphone was missing. C/p stated there were several people inside his apartment when he woke up but nobody knew where his phone was.

A male subject knocked on the back door of SPD during shift change and stated his girl-friend stabbed him in the back of the neck with a syringe needle. Officers then went to Solo-mon St. to investigate and met with the girlfriend/complainant and observed blood coming from her lip and ear, and she was crying. C/p stated offender bit her on the shoulder, show-ing the bite mark, grabbed her by the hair and began hitting and choking her, then took a shower pole and struck her in the ear, so she grabbed a needle that was laying on the floor and stabbed offender in an attempt to escape from him. C/p stated she left and tried to go to SPD but offender followed her and threatened her if she got out of the car so she went back home and called the police.

Officer responded to E. Main St. in reference to a shoplifting. Officer made contact with of-fender while another officer spoke with the cashier who stated offender stuck two candy bars in his pocket and continued to walk around the store, then walked to the counter to pay for some goodie powders. Offender stated multiple times that he only concealed the candy bars because his hands were full. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail and it was discovered he had a probation warrant.

Officer observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in a 20 MPH zone, at which time he initiated a traffic stop. The driver’s eyes were very blood shot and watery and officer could smell alcoholic beverage. Offender agreed to provide a breath sample, which indicated posi-tive for alcohol. Offender was transported to EmCo Jail.

Officer observed a vehicle dim its lights and the headlights went out, at which time he initi-ated a traffic stop. Officer asked for the driver’s license and he stated he did not have them on him and gave his name and DOB. Offender stated he hit the wrong button when trying to dim his lights. Offender’s license came back suspended and was transported to EmCo Jail.

September 28

Officer responded to S. Green St. in reference to a male subject attempting to get into com-plainant’s vehicle. Several females were pointing at a male walking away from the location and contact was made with him. Offender advised he was meeting someone near Dollar General who was driving a red SUV and thought c/p’s car was the one he was meeting. C/p advised when offender opened the door and realized c/p was not who he thought, he shut the door and left.

Officer responded to ECS on Warren Ave. in reference to a possible break-in. Complainant advised the outside screen on one of the windows appeared to be bent outwards and tam-pered with. C/p stated he has seen what appeared to be a homeless man hanging around the building.

Officer responded to WalMart and met with complainant who stated she was shopping when she noticed an unknown male subject following her.

Officer was dispatched to Alice Cir. In reference to an unruly customer causing a disturbance with management. Complainant stated offender has been staying there since Sept. 25, and management believes offender has been smoking in the room and has been advised not to. Offender denies smoking in the room and accused the cleaning staff of damaging his gam-ing console with water.

Officer was stopped by complainant who stated she was sitting on the back porch when two male subjects threw eggs and ketchup on the door of her apartment, then ran off and jumped in a vehicle and took off. C/p described the vehicle and it was seen on Central St. While officers was speaking with one male subject, he noticed the vehicle was covered in busted eggs and what appeared to be tack sauce. Offender advised they were throwing eggs and ketchup for homecoming week and his buddy knew they were going to the apartment. Officer spoke with c/p and she stated she talked to her brother and he told her what was going on and c/p did not want to make a report.

September 29

Officers were dispatched to Marion St. in reference to an unwanted person.
