The following occurred during the Emanuel County Superior Court April 2026 term:
Jamie Dayon Boyd, repeat offender, non-negotiated a guilty plea on one count fleeing and attempting to elude officer. He was fined $5,000 with 10 years to serve; one count habitual violator operating motor vehicle with 5 years probation to run consecutive with count one; one count weaving over roadway with 12 months probation to run concurrent with count 2 and consecutive with count one. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 15 years, with the first 10 years to be served in confinement and the remainer to be served on probation. Defendant is to receive credit for time served in custody as determined by the custodian. Upon service of 10 years, the remainder of the sentence may be served on probation; PROVIDED, that the defendant shall comply with the conditions of probation imposed by the Court as part of this sentence. The Court sentences the defendant as a recidivist under O.C.G.A. § 17-10-7(a).
Nyque Martiiez Price, repeat offender, negotiated a guilty-alford plea on one count possession of schedule I. He was fined $50 with 3 years, 1 year to serve, bal. prob.; one count fleeing and eluding with 12 months probation to run consecutive with count one; one count driving while license suspended with 12 months probation to run consecutive with count two; one count obstruction with 12 months probation to run consecutive with count three; one count possession of drug related objects with 12 months probation to run concurrent with counts 1-4; one count improper headlights with 12 months probation to run concurrent with counts 1-5. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 5 years, with the first one year to be served in confinement and the remainder to be served on probation. Defendant is to receive credit for time served in custody as determined by the custodian. Upon service of 1 year, the remainder of the sentence may be served on probation; PROVIDED, that the defendant shall comply with the conditions of probation imposed by the Court as part of this sentence. The Court sentences the defendant as a recidivist under O.C.G.A. § 17-10-7(a).
Richard Lee negotiated a guilty-alford plea on one count false imprisonment. He was fined $500 with 10 years probation, 120-160 days in PDC; one count battery with 5 years probation to run concurrent with count one. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 10 years to be served on probation.
James Christopher Johnson negotiated a guilty-alford plea on one count possession of cocaine. He was fined $50 with 3 years probation, 1 year to serve bal. prob; one count possession of marijuana less than oz with 12 months to serve to run concurrent with count one; one count possession of drug related objects with 12 months to serve to run concurrent with count one and two. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 3 years, with the first one year to be served in confinement and the remainder to be served on probation. Upon service of one year, the remainder of the sentence may be served on probation; PROVIDED, that the defendant shall comply with the conditions of probation imposed by the Court as part of this sentence.
Asia Lashondra Gordon negotiated a Nol Pros on two counts financial transaction card fraud; three guilty-alford pleas on financial transaction card fraud with 3 years to serve and 3 years probation to run consecutive with count three with a $50 fine and 3 years probation to run consecutive with count four. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 9 years, with the first 3 years to be served in confinement and the remainder to be served on probation. Defendant is to receive credit for time served in custody from 7/10/26-6/22/26. Upon service of 3 years, the remainder of the sentence may be served on probation; PROVIDED, that the defendant shall comply with the conditions of probation imposed by the Court as part of this sentence.
Rebecca Hunter negotiated a guilty-alford plea on one count possession of cocaine. She was fined $50 with 8 years prob., 170-180 PDC susp. for DRC and employ. Defendant is sentenced for a total of 8 years to be served on probation. Defendant is to receive credit for time served in custody as determined by the custodian.
