Josh and Matt Fulmer and Scrap and Shot Scarboro announce the upcoming marriage of their parents, Ricky Joe Fulmer of Twin City and Wanda Thompson Scarboro of Swainsboro.
Wanda graduated from Swainsboro High School and Georgia Southern University with a degree in Elementary Education. She retired from Emanuel County Family and Children Services as a case worker with 34 years of service. In 2013, she and her family purchased Boneyard BBQ in Soperton and continue to operate. Wanda is the daughter of the late Randolph and Gertrude Rowland Thompson.
Ricky graduated from Emanuel County Institute. After high school, he worked for Anheuser-Busch and later owned his own trucking business. In 1999, he joined Handi-House of Swainsboro as a truck driver and was later promoted to sales. Ricky is the son of the late Carlton Fulmer and Bertha Sherrod Fulmer.
Wedding vows will be exchanged Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 5 p.m. at Nunez Baptist Church. A reception will follow at The Cabin located at 1140 Old Nunez Road, Swainsboro.
