Eight adoption papers were signed by animal control staff from Betty Gambrell Animal Shelter over the recent weekend, with an additional adoption pending as of Monday this week. On Saturday, September 10, from 12 until 3 p.m., Tractor Supply in Swainsboro served as the host spot for the animal shelter’s free adoption event sponsored by the Emanuel County Humane Society. The turnout and support received from a local level was incredible and aided not only adoptions but donations, too.
