Sandra Wilkerson Marsh, age 75, of Swainsboro, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2026, at her residence. Funeral service was held Monday, April 6, at 2 p.m. at Jesus Saves Church with Reverend Brad McKenzie officiating. Internment followed at Old Bethel Church Cemetery. Family received friends Sunday, April 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Chapman Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Dwayne Marsh, Rashon Marsh, Daon Bethea, Jr., Chase Johnson, Tim Wilkerson, Henry Wilkerson, Jr., Rodney Sellers, Cody Hopkins and Chris Wilkerson.
Sandra was born September 5, 1950, in Swainsboro, to the late Quince Wilkerson and Evie Dell Hall Wilkerson. She loved antiques and yard sales. Sandra enjoyed watching game shows, especially Family Feud hosted by Steve Harvey. She was a devoted member of Jesus Saves Church and adored the pastor and his wife. Sandra had a great sense of humor; she loved to cut up and make jokes. She was sassy and feisty, all the way up to the end Sandra’s greatest joy in life came from being a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her love was genuine and selfless, and you never had to question that she let the world know how much she loved her family. Mrs. Marsh is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Wayne Marsh; sister, Valerie L. Wilkerson; and brothers, Larry Wilkerson, George Wilkerson, Henry Wilkerson and Stanly Wayne Wilkerson.
Survivors include her sons, Dwayne (Eryka) Marsh of Ellabell; daughters, Cindy Chance and Cissy (Daon) Bethea, both of Stillmore; brothers, Charles Ronald Wilkerson of Garfield and Randy (Glenda) Wilkerson of Swainsboro; sister, Trannie (Edward) Hopkins of Swainsboro; grandchildren, Rayvan Marsh, Rashon Marsh, Tyrone Carswell, Jr., Dayla Bethea, Daon Bethea, Jr., Destinee Marsh, Khaci Marsh and Chase Johnson; great-grandchildren, Hazel Marsh, Aspen Carswell, Aroya Cook, Ari Carswell and Kyro Marsh; several nieces, nephews and many friends.
Chapman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
