Ryker Charles Brinson, 1, of Swainsboro, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Emanuel Medical Center in Swainsboro. Funeral service was held Wednesday, September 1, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Reverend Jim Harrell officiating. Interment followed at Eastbrook Cemetery and Mausoleum in Swainsboro. The family received friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 31, at Chapman Funeral Home.
Ryker was born May 14, 2020, in Augusta, to Billy Brinson Jr. and Mandi Martin Brinson. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Chuck Martin; maternal great-grandfather, Wayne “Bop” Irvin; maternal great-grandparents, Charles and Deloach Martin; and paternal great-grandfather, Jimmy Amerson.
Survivors include his parents; brother, Bentley Brinson; sisters, Blakely Brinson and Finley Brinson, all of Swainsboro; maternal grandmother, Renee Irvin Martin of North Augusta, SC; paternal grandparents, Billy and Carolyn Brinson of Swainsboro; maternal great-grandmother, Brenda Bunch of Trenton, SC; paternal great-grandmother, Lucy Amerson of Swainsboro; special aunt and uncle, Chris and Jerry Bennett of Midville; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
