Mr. Roy Brantley Frady, 79, of Wrightsville, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021 at his residence following an extended illness. Graveside service was Sunday, February 21, 2021, at 4 p.m. at Ivey Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Jimmy Allen and Deacon Chris Crawford officiating. The family received friends from 2 to 3:45 p.m. Sunday at Ivey Baptist Church. In compliance with the guidelines set by the CDC, 6-feet was enforced during visitation and service.
Pallbearers were Tommy Marshall, Tony Price, Floyd Price, Walter Price, Russell Massey, Jerald Massey, and John Johnson. Honorary Pallbearer was Ronnie Scarboro. 
Mr. Frady was born December 17, 1941 in Wrightsville to the late Thomas Carl Frady and Addie Johnson Frady. Roy was a simple man who led a simple life. He was a devoted husband and father, and his favorite times were those when he was surrounded by his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Mr. Frady spent most of his years behind the steering wheel of a truck and was well respected in the trucking community.  He never met a stranger and was always willing to help someone out whether he knew them or not.  Roy was a bit of a prankster who always enjoyed laughing with family and friends.  He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Frady is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, A.J. Frady and Alvin Horton; and sisters, Loree Price and Sybil Mizell.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Lynn Frady of Wrightsville; sons, Tommy Frady and Jeff Frady, both of Wrightsville; daughters, Rhonda Marshall and Debbie (Kevin) Joiner, both of Wrightsville; grandchildren, Lee Marshall, Keeli Joiner, Kaci Joiner, and Keri Joiner; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Marshall and Emilee Roberson; several nieces, nephews, and many friends. 
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospitals or Ivey Baptist Church.
Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
