Ronella Coleman Beasley, age 100, of Garden City, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023, at Oaks at Habersham in Savannah. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 11, followed by a graveside service at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
A native of Swainsboro, Mrs. Beasley was the daughter of the late Jordan Coleman and Mary Jane Curl Coleman. She loved gardening and was a wonderful seamstress. Ronella was a charter member of Sardis Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Beasley is preceded in death by her husband, Talmadge Lafayette Beasley; daughters, Joyce Walusiak and Hazel Harris; grandson, John Kersey; siblings, George, Pauline, Marjorie, Myrtle Ruth, Grace, Bill and Hobby.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sara and John Thomas; six grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Oaks at Habersham and Compassus Hospice.
Services have been entrusted to Baker McCullough Funeral Home Garden City Chapel.
