Mr. Ronald “Scott” Gene Kidd, 80, of Swainsboro, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023, at his residence.
Mr. Kidd was born October 8, 1942, in Madison, WV, to the late Mack Kidd and Gwendolyn Jackson Peters (James). Scott was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a radio personality with WJAT and WSYL and a lifelong fan of Cincinnati Reds. Mr. Kidd is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Sonja Jackson.
Mr. Kidd is survived by his wife, Donna Kidd; son, Jeff Kidd; daughter, Kim Roughton (Keith); sisters, Carolyn Workman (Bob) and Debra Milam; grandchildren, Nella Martin (Josh), Sunni Williams, Libby Williams and George Roughton; great-granddaughter, Emmie Martin; several nieces, nephews and many friends.

Chapman Funeral Home of Swainsboro was in charge of arrangements.
