My name is Maddox Robertson, and I am a senior at Swainsboro High School. As a community service project, I am taking donations for our nursing homes in Emanuel County. I know that during this time of year, many people in nursing homes aren’t able to celebrate the holidays with family. My hope is that by giving these donations to nursing homes, I can help bring a little joy and kindness to those who are unable to celebrate with family.
Some items that are needed for the nursing homes are body wash, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, and bingo prizes, such as snacks, coloring stuff, including crayons and coloring books, puzzles, decor for their rooms, cups, and crafts.
Please consider donating to help our nursing home residents of Emanuel County! I will have a donation box set up at the Cakery on the Square, or you can message me or my mama, Margo Robertson, via Facebook.
Donations will be accepted from November 4 to November 25.
