We are living in a society where there is a saying that we are in a ”dog eat dog” world. Does it sound really vicious? Well, it is. It is an attack on everyone who does something we do not like. Really now you don't have to do anything, but you are being hated for who you are.
So, we are in a battle of spiritual warfare. For Ephesians 6:10-12 tells us, ”Finally my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Put on the whole Armour of God that you might be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual weakedness in high places.”
Now your enemy is not the person you see but the evil spirit which you cannot see. That is why Jesus said to pray for your enemies and to do good to those who despitefully use you. So, pray to pull down the stronghold in that person's life. Don't destroy the person. You are sent to help deliver them. Don't put yourself in harm's way but talk to God. First make sure you are not the problem then pray for the person to be delivered and set free.
Remember to “tear down the stronghold, don't tear down the person.” Remember you have to be free before you can free others. Spend time in God's word and prayer. If you are willing and obedient, he will transform you to help free others.
